The strings broke as soon as I tighten them up. The app is. Really poor I'm very happy right now. We'll see once I put new strings on.

This is a great guitar for the price. It sounds good, the frets feel good, no sharp edges. It works well plugged in or acoustic.
The strap that comes with it is terrible, but that's just nitpicking. The case is okay, but you will likely want to replace it as well.
Nevertheless, I highly recommend the bass itself.

It's a very good instrument for a beginner, with just a few little points knocking off that 5th star:
The body is quite light while the neck and head contribute a significan heft, which does cause some awkward handling that can get uncomfortable after a while
In addition, the pick-ups are quite short which can make then difficult to rest your thumb on
Otherwise, I'm very impressed with what I recieved for the pricepoint

Guitar was way to small plus the whammy bar wouldn't even fit in the guitar I need to return this product asap

I love this bass. Its light, stays in tune and sounds good. Its comfortable and really fun to play. I'm so impressed by this one I'm looking to try the four string jazz next. I think my expectations were very low considering the price but i was blown away . On the other hand I've bought more expense name brand basses and they never lived up to the hype or reached my expectations.

It is impressive, playing so well and sounding like a $200+ instrument. After I dropped in some different pickups I have come up to the conclusion that this guitar can keep up with $400 guitars with ease!!

i have purchased at least 5 prior Glarry instruments so I knew to expect a good value for a good instrument. This updated 6 string bass is no exception. They have added active electronics and upgraded pickups without increasing the price. Instrument plays great out of the box with minimal setup. I am extremely satisfied with this instrument. Wasn't sure what to expect from a 139 6 string bass but i honestly am impressed so great out of the box preamp is ok and strings are relatively bright i definitely will be restringing and possibly switching out preamp but overall this bass feels good and plays good I'd definitely gig with this one will be buying another one and getting a 5 string version

When I saw the specs on this bass, I had to buy it, I am glad I did. It has great tone, especially for such a small scale. Once I did a setup on it (file the nut, adjust the bridge, adjust the truss rod, and dressed the fret ends), It plays like butter. There was a little too much hum from the pickups, but once I shielded the cavity on the back, it's dead silent. The Mahogany body, Maple neck, and Rosewood fretboard make for a great bass. It arrived today. I opened and played it a few hours. The strings sort of wear off on me, literally. This is my fretting hand in the photo. Sort of the cool thing tho is that I can see what part of my hands I use. My other hand has a spot where i palm mute.
I think i'll get different strings for sure. I have not yet tried to amplify it.

Lets see, I was waiting awhile before I added a review. Was looking for a inexpensive fretless bass for a while, played a buddy's like 30 yrs ago, liked it. For the price of around 90 dollars i would say this is an absolute steal it shipped within a week there were no sharp frets the tuning stability is pretty good the pickups sound good for a 90 dollar guitar the material is nice and the finish is beautiful my only complaint is the quality of the accessories but for the price i cant really complain i would recommend getting new picks and a new cord if this is your first guitar but if you're looking for a good starter guitar and you don't want to sp ...

I wanted to get into playing bass but didn't want to invest in something expensive. After watching a lot of reviews on Glarry basses and guitars and went ahead and pulled the trigger. It shipped fairly quickly and everything was well packaged. I did have a hole in the box but the entire bass is in foam so there was no damage to it. The quality seems good for what you pay for. Only time will tell how well these hold up. It's hard to pass on a value like this.

This a professional quality instrument, not a toy. Don't be fooled by the price. This isn't a toy or cheaply made instrument. I recoded with it right out of the box and it a professional quality, wonderful sounding, easily played, and responsive instrument that is set up nicely with no issues. I like the fact it doesn't way a ton and it has a beautiful natural finish I probably will upgrade the nut to a graphite one sometime but that's all the mods it needs and that's just a personal preferenc ...

I have always wanted to learn how to play a guitar, and I figured the best way to start was with a four-string bass so that I wouldn't get too overwhelmed with the six-string equivalent. I love the bass it came in perfect condition I do not regret purchasing this basss, but one of the bad things that I noticed when I was trying to play, was anytime I connected the amp to the base the amp started sounding weird and scratchy. Whenever I tried to put the volume up, the amp would start making some weird noises. But other than that, I love everything else.
