Another AWESOME buy from Glarry. Range of sound and super deep bass if you want. Of the 4 Glarry guitars I bought in 2021, this may be the best. Great sound from the upgraded Wilkinson pickups and the super smooth neck allows for fast movement. Former Fender American snob..I'll be buying another Glarry soon.

Item arrived in a swift manner.I had a question about something and customer service for Glarry was able to answer quick and with a good resolution.Instrument sounds good, plays well, and had a smooth fretboard with no sharp edges.
I am super excited to surprise my grandson with his first bass! I never thought I could afford one for him. He will be thrilled.
I ordered another really cool guitar for him, but I'm saving it for his birthday. He saw the box and knew we had just looked at that guitar a couple of nights before. They come really fast :)
Now he will get the surprise for Chanukah and the other one for the birthday.
With this price I could afford two guitars.
This is my first bass and I am amazed by this thing I was gonna purchase one from a pricey company but I saw Charles Berthoud play this and he recommended it and when I saw the price I couldn't argue at all. I'm so happy with it after getting it professionally set up it's a dream I couldn't ask for a better beginner bass. Can't wait to start upgrading it!!!
Arrived in pristine condition. Finish and fit are awesome, a beautiful instrument! I wanted to explore 5-string bass and this bass feels incredible! After a setup and intonation it performs beautifully. Lovely grain and the pickups really deliver. If a maple fretboard becomes available I will purchase another!
Loved my new Bass! I do have small hands and the neck is a little on the big side, plays well and very sensitive. There were some small scratches when it arrived which was kind of sad 'cause it was brand new. I did give a 5 star but a 4.7 would have been what I wanted to do, but round up you know.

3. The Good: Everything electronic worked. No loose parts. The fit and finish was astounding at this price. I oiled the neck and fretboard as is usual for any instrument and polished the frets.
4. The Not so Good: The nut was cut too low and the plastic flashing was in the winding of the strings. I broke a string before I figured out that the low strings were also sitting on the first fret. The nut is not a typical size for a simple "order a replacement". It is a Bass so I can try cutting and filing a new bone nut with simple tools available from some place like HF.
This is my first instrument purchase and I am very pleased with the whole transaction. Thank you!
arrived in 5 days, the amp in 3. seems in perfect condition no fret buzz holds tuning ( for 2 days) I haven't really completely set it up yet the volume and tone knobs seem to be more effective in the forward pickup. I'm happy with it , haven't played in years and allows me to see if I can get back into it inexpensively I can upgrade this or buy something different down the line.Like i have seen in reviews it is very light but not too neck heavy.
I wanted to get this 6 string Bass since I saw it offered. but eveytime I made up my mind it was Sold Out!
Now I know why :) I LOve It! It doesn't have powerful output, but the setup out of the box was close to perfect only took a few minutes to set it perfect for myself.

If you are considering getting one. DO IT ! I am going to get a Burylwood next..The Sunset finish is beautiful. Might as well comple the set :)
Thank You Glarry ! I have 8 Glarry Guitars and 6 Glarry Basses Now in my collection and see more coming in the future. Keep Making Muscians around the world so Happy!
Fantastic little bass guitar just need to set up which they all do at this price....... I'm very satisfied with my purchase....... Shipped on time arrived on time.......
Pretty well made and good sounding 5 string bass for the price. I'm a new to Bass playing and decided to go with the 5 string instead of 4, and so far so good. I like that the strings are closer together.
Currently just super disappointed with this bass guitar. I have a Glarry GST and I love it to death, it's my first electric guitar that I ever owned and the first guitar that really made me want to play guitars. So I was kind of expecting more from this Bass, I mean it looks nice but I was really hoping for it to be in playable condition before having to replace strings or take it to a shop to have it worked on. I'm not exactly a professional at doing tuning adjustments to these guitars so I don't even really know where to begin to fix the issues I'm facing with this thing. it came in and the strings are just super rattly. the second fret on each string just straight up doesn't work, the fret buzz is super bad. To add insult to injury my E string snapped pretty much immediately as I was tuning, so now I imagine the fret buzz is even worse missing a string. I think the nut slots might be just cut too deep because the action is super low at the nut and way higher at the bridge. Adjusting the saddles higher just makes it worse too. I don't normally leave bad reviews, I'm just super disappointed in this thing. Not like I had replacement strings on the ready, wanted to at least be able to test it out before restringing it.

Wow!
I've been happy with other purchases from Glarry (another instrument and keyboard stand), and the GJazz exceeds my expectations.
The set-up was good right out of the box, (once it settled in from the cold trip during delivery and with one adjustment to the truss rod - wrench included. I followed instructions from an internet forum).
The quality of materials and workmanship are incredible for a bass that is this affordable.

The strings that came on it were fine, but I wanted to try some flatwounds, and it turned into an effortlessly smooth player.
Highly recommended.
Thank you, Glarry, for making such quality affordable instruments.
So overall I am a little disappointed in the way this bass came. For one, the pick guard came already scratched, underneath the plastic protective coating. Rough handling before packaging? Seems like it. Action is pretty high, so not something I could play without a lot of fret buzz before getting a setup. The neck has pitting along where the D string runs and a pretty heavy metallic scratch, easily noticeable on the 10th fret. It tuned up nicely but as I said, the buzz is too high to play ...So overall I am a little disappointed in the way this bass came. It tuned up nicely but as I said, the buzz is too high to play out of the box. The amp is good enough for home use and you can hear while practicing. The cord was either defective or just not very good because I experienced buzz with this cord while other brands did not do the same. I really wanted to love this bass but because of the combination of more than usual cosmetic flaws out of the box combined with the neck pitting that will become an issue in the future, I would skip this bass. I am hoping Glarry makes this right. Maybe I just got a not so good one.

Glarry Manager Lynn reached out to me and solved all my issues. Because of Glarry's outstanding customer service I will be purchasing more Glarry products in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and a half stars.
This is my third Glarry instrument and I can't believe how good they are for the price. I already bought this bass for myself about a year ago. Now I bought one in blue for a friend. I brought my wrenches to his house figuring I would do a setup. Turns out, all it needed was tuning! The action was spot on and it looks great!
Obviously a returned item from another customer, as the output cable was jammed into the jack in the packaging, necessitating the removal of the pick guard to remove. Physical damage to the head, as well as stripped out tuner screw holes which will need to be plugged and re-drilled. Although the quality issues I had with the instrument will take some effort to be resolved, Customer Service was very quick to respond and offer a remedy for the problems. Less than 36 hours after receiving the instrument, I can say that I am satisfied. The instrument is very good looking, and with a little effort will be playing just as well. Thank you Lynn and team for your outreach. I will be buying more instruments from Glarry in the future.
Bang for the Buck!
Even my son stood in amazement of this guitar. lol My 3 year old got to play it before me. lol
I have been playing guitar for eight years. I got this bass because I wanted something cheap to bang around and record with. I was not expecting this quality of instrument.
There is no battery port, so it will use phantom power of whatever you plug it in to. If you are running into a front of house system, you may want to invest in a driver pedal get that push.

I ran it through Garage Band through an Irig system and it blew me away.
The frets are not sharp, the neck dimension is more of a D shape and may be difficult to hold for small hands. This guitar definitely gives off Misfit vibes. The first song I played on it was Living Dead Girl by Rob Zombie- every easy to play. It sounded like the OG recording.
Very impressed with the overall quality of the guitar. The image had some Styrofoam dust. The finish is a high gloss. It looks like it was polished with a Brillo pad. It just adds character for me, so I don't care.
Man what a nice looking bass! Glarry's quality control is improving drastically. I got this in today and did a quick inspection. The frets edges were the smoothest I've felt on any Glarry bass so far. The finish was perfect. Another thing I checked was the area where the neck meets the body. Sometimes there are spaces where it does not fit well. This was not the case here! It fit perfectly. The fret-board looks and feels very nice.

The only cons are mainly the gig bag and accessories. The bag is more of a dust cover, no padding at all. The accessories are two wrenches to adjust the truss rod and action. And a non padded strap. There is also a cord for connecting to your amp. I"d probably replace these last two and maybe the bag with something a little better. But I understand to keep the cost of this bass down you're not getting the best accessories money can buy. Overall this is a nice bass.
The odd shape is actually smaller and more comfortable than I thought it would be. The neck is more of a D shape. Not too thick but could be a little thinner. The strings are OK but I'd replace them with some better ones. The pickups sound nice and overall I'm happy with this purchase. I'd highly recommend it for the beginning bassist or anyone that just wants something a little different.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Bass and amp quality is not great at all. One of the strings cannot be fixed. Customer service not great either. I've been trying to return this product and they refuse to take it back. Spend your money on a better quality brand, it'll save your time and money!

I purchased this as a gift and I'm amazed at how beautiful it is! The gift recipient was completely enamoured with the bass. Once they adjusted it a bit, they played a bit for us and it sounded fantastic, especially for the price. Overall a phenomenal find. Also, the shipping was lightning fast!! 10/10 would buy again
Learning bass guitars do make you stand out from the crowd. The lead guitar usually expresses the face and sound of the band with an exaggerated feel, but behind it is a bass guitar that brings vitality to the same band. The bass player usually calmly performs his own performance, making the entire band's energetic heartbeat continue to beat.
Playing a electric bass guitar is easy to learn, but it's hard to master, it all depends on where you want to match. Bass guitars are very easy to get started, most people can master the basics and start playing right away, but learning best bass guitars can also be very advanced, because it is an easy-to-use instrument that can be almost as infinite as possible. The right quality of the correct tuning and playing bass guitar and the richness of the rich tones are truly fascinating. Being a bass guitar player and being able to create such a sound yourself is still a much more exciting.
