I am super excited to surprise my grandson with his first bass! I never thought I could afford one for him. He will be thrilled.
I ordered another really cool guitar for him, but I'm saving it for his birthday. He saw the box and knew we had just looked at that guitar a couple of nights before. They come really fast :)
Now he will get the surprise for Chanukah and the other one for the birthday.
With this price I could afford two guitars.
Arrived in pristine condition. Finish and fit are awesome, a beautiful instrument! I wanted to explore 5-string bass and this bass feels incredible! After a setup and intonation it performs beautifully. Lovely grain and the pickups really deliver. If a maple fretboard becomes available I will purchase another!
Loved my new Bass! I do have small hands and the neck is a little on the big side, plays well and very sensitive. There were some small scratches when it arrived which was kind of sad 'cause it was brand new. I did give a 5 star but a 4.7 would have been what I wanted to do, but round up you know.
I purchased this item for my daughter & had it shipped to Ohio. She verified that it arrived safely & is very happy with her item. A+ on communication, quick delivery, and overall satisfaction. Thank you!
When I originally saw your small kid's size basses on Amazon I thought one might be fun to have someday for travel. As a 6/12 string guitarist, I have to say these bass is massive, especially the neck, but solid, stable, very little fret sprout, no buzzing and quite playable right out of the box. Looks cool, too. Craftsmanship far exceeds the price. I'm stunned at the quality of this bass, especially for the price. It took some set up, to be expected (the neck has 2 reinforcement rods), but worth the time. Loving my "low cost" bass.
Nice little short scale bass. I had it professionally set-up after purchasing it and it plays really well. My daughter loves it and it's a great first bass for her. I wish the amplifier that was sold with it had the same build quality (the amp broke 7 months into ownership, just outside of the 6-month warranty period).
Got a bass for a 12 year old for his birthday and he has yet to put it down.thank you for everything!!!!! Perfect experience in all aspects.start the kids young and support them in whatever they choose.music is a universal language that brings everyone together.
Im surprised of this little guy. Im a small person and it fits great in my hands. It has some rough edges and minor details that need adjustment like the action but nothing out of the ordinary.
The gig bag that comes with it is pretty cheap and barely fits the bass.
Sound wise I tested it and once the action was fixed sounded clearer, nice tone for chords but nothing too crazy. For the price I guess is great for kids and beginners.
Got this for my son for his birthday. Pretty solid instrument for the price. Was pretty much ready to go out of the box with a couple of minor tweaks. Really hard to beat the product for the price.
It had came with this pretty noticeable and big crack from shipping or when it was being packaged, but otherwise it was good.

My purchase came in a few days, out of the box, no damage. With a few minutes of cleaning and tuning, the bass was ready to go. I have changed a few things on it. Went with gold colored parts. Looks awesome and plays/ sounds great!!
I bought this bass for a school in the Philippines, and it is a perfect size for the students, and after setup it plays and sounds great. Note the "after setup" part. The intonation was so bad out of the box that I thought the frets were misplaced, and considered returning it as defective. It needed a TOTAL setup, as it wasn't even close, and was totally unplayable out of the box. Truss rod, saddle height and intonation all required major adjustment. As a woman in my 70's, I bought this kid's bass after seeing several positive reviews where I could see an adult playing it, who said it could be good for older folks. I'm taking a jazz group and decided to replace my u-bass with this. Plus, if I get someone to set it up for me, I'll have put more into it than it cost. (Plus purchase of a padded gigbag) But maybe that's a good deal, who knows?
I got the GB short scale, it arrived when promised. It was packaged up well enough and arrived undamaged even though the outside box looked like it had been bounced and thrown about. With a few minor tweaks on the string height for my preference, it intonated quite well without any trouble. The guitar is as light as any electric guitar I've ever played, I passed it around to my band mates and they were amazed as well with its playability as well as with the overall weight of the bass. My husband is a professional bassist and I'm a pianist. We set out to find a short scale bass that our daughter could use to learn the bass. The bass guitars we own are way too big for her to be comfortable with as she's still a young child. After reading tons of reviews and watching so many videos, we decided to try this one. So we ordered it, albeit with some trepidation.

We received it yesterday and my husband is surprised that it is actually better than he thought it would be. It does need a professional setup to make it true tonality wise, but he can do that himself. However, one could actually begin learning on this instrument even without that. One of the frets does have a sharp edge, also something that is easily taken care of. He plugged it into his Fender Bassman 800-watt amp and he was happy with the sound he got with this micro bass. We chose the natural finish because I am thinking of adding a dark blue cosmic vinyl skin to make it into a very nice bass for our daughter to use for learning & studying the bass guitar.
Overall, my husband and I think that it was worth what we paid for it. The adjustments are not a deal-breaker as he likes the challenge. And this is a real instrument! There are several well-known artists who use a short scale bass due to the difference in sound as compared to a standard bass guitar. So we're keeping this one and hope that it will become a part of our musical family.
Just got my Jazz Bass. Only 3 day to get here. Packed well and it looks, sounds and plays incredible. Very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend Glarry Products.
This is perfect for my purposes. I normally play Guitar, but needed an "emergency bass" to leave in the car at all times, in case my bass player doesn't show up at our twice monthly jam.
Got the bass, beautiful. Simple, clean smooth neck. My setup so far is 1) straighten the neck w/ the supplied Allen wrench, lower the action. That's all it took to get it to my preferred "playability".

My first Glarry instrument and I am completely satisfied with this bass; the craftsman quality for an instrument at this price is just unbelievable; the action is just right for my taste, the frets are properly set; I have (brand new) $1,500 basses that I had to file or adjust some frets that were sticking out and I was definitely surprised to not have this problem with the Glarry GJazz; I chose the Burlywood; it's beautiful and the finish is very well done; I'm now, confident with Glarry instru ...My first Glarry instrument and I am completely satisfied with this bass; the craftsman quality for an instrument at this price is just unbelievable; the action is just right for my taste, the frets are properly set; I have (brand new) $1,500 basses that I had to file or adjust some frets that were sticking out and I was definitely surprised to not have this problem with the Glarry GJazz; I chose the Burlywood; it's beautiful and the finish is very well done; I'm now, confident with Glarry instruments and today I ordered another one of their products; I highly recommend the GJazz bass if you're a beginner and don't want to spend a fortune on an instrument you might not stick with, as well as if you're a veteran musician like myself
This bass arrived in less than perfect shape due to a shipping snafu during literally the hottest days of the year! The fingerboard was extremely dry, and the neck was bowed. After a week of allowing the bass to acclimate to its new home, making daily small adjustments to the truss rod, it was brought into decent relief. Daily applications of Neck Honey brought back the fretboard to acceptable condition. I leveled, crowned, and polished the frets. All of this effort was rewarded with a very easy playing and fun instrument that is great for a guitar player who occasionally picks up a bass, like me. After the basics of playability had been addressed I decided that it would be nice to have a more gutsy tonal palate on tap, so I added a MusicMan-style humbucker in place of the bridge pickup, coil split wiring, a five-way switch, master volume and separate push-pull tone pits that select caps for different tone coloring. Probably not a project that a novice would want to undertake, but it does provide an example of what can be done with this bass. The basic "bones" are good, materials solid, fit and finish is OK - nothing to complain about at this price point. Good instrument for kids or adults looking for a short scale bass.
1st time Guitar purchaser. I purchased this for my 16 year old grand daughter who wants to learn to play bass. The primary reason for this specific guitar is because she is 4'9" and I felt the smaller style would fit her stature better. She had expressed a desire to find a smaller bass as well... so this seemed like the right choice. I watched several reviews on YouTube of various small bass guitars, and this specific guitar GW101 was used by by a 12 year old young woman with the name EllenPlaysBass and she gave it a very solid review. Neither I or my grand daughter have guitar experience, so this purchase was based more on wants, needs and price for an introduction. It must have been a winner! She got it out of the box and started to play it immediately, and her mother indicates it sounds very good. (I am in another state). She loves the Red color, and says it had no visual imperfections or issues. From order to arrival was less than 5 days.
Definitely buy it. I tuned it up and it sounds nice. My kids were playing with it for a few hours and it held pretty good.
Learning bass guitars do make you stand out from the crowd. The lead guitar usually expresses the face and sound of the band with an exaggerated feel, but behind it is a bass guitar that brings vitality to the same band. The bass player usually calmly performs his own performance, making the entire band's energetic heartbeat continue to beat.
Playing a electric bass guitar is easy to learn, but it's hard to master, it all depends on where you want to match. Bass guitars are very easy to get started, most people can master the basics and start playing right away, but learning best bass guitars can also be very advanced, because it is an easy-to-use instrument that can be almost as infinite as possible. The right quality of the correct tuning and playing bass guitar and the richness of the rich tones are truly fascinating. Being a bass guitar player and being able to create such a sound yourself is still a much more exciting.
