I am super excited to surprise my grandson with his first bass! I never thought I could afford one for him. He will be thrilled.
I ordered another really cool guitar for him, but I'm saving it for his birthday. He saw the box and knew we had just looked at that guitar a couple of nights before. They come really fast :)
Now he will get the surprise for Chanukah and the other one for the birthday.
With this price I could afford two guitars.
Arrived in pristine condition. Finish and fit are awesome, a beautiful instrument! I wanted to explore 5-string bass and this bass feels incredible! After a setup and intonation it performs beautifully. Lovely grain and the pickups really deliver. If a maple fretboard becomes available I will purchase another!
Loved my new Bass! I do have small hands and the neck is a little on the big side, plays well and very sensitive. There were some small scratches when it arrived which was kind of sad 'cause it was brand new. I did give a 5 star but a 4.7 would have been what I wanted to do, but round up you know.
Finally took the plunge and bought a Glarry product - in my case - a full length bass guitar. I needed a budget backup and this guitar delivers. The basswood neck is indeed thicker and less "smooth" than a higher end bass guitar, but the playability of the guitar is good. I used it for a 3HR performance and it stayed in tune. The intonation was solid. To a trained ear, the tonal quality is not as warm / full as you would get with a Fender product (Fender makes good bass guitars). That said, none of my bandmates had anything bad to say about how it sounded. I played in through a TC Electronics Head and cab and also through the sub-woofers. I've only played it once and I was happy with it. For a regular working rock bass player - this guitar can hold its own but for purists they will not want it as their "showtime" instrument. As a backup in the event of a string break or primary guitar malfunction - it will work just fine for me.
Why are you showing the first bass I bought and not the one due me now? The first one came smoothly, and I like the bass, but the second one, a 4 string Jazz style, was sold to me while outta stock. Not impressed in the 2nd bass now overdue to me. It's as if the first is shipped smoothly to win over a buyer and the second late/no show bass I paid for, shows how you actually operate. Get my second bass to me so I can continue to speak positivly about your business. The 5 string you delivered is n ...Why are you showing the first bass I bought and not the one due me now? Thanks you guys and I'm so impressed with this bass and can't beat the price for all the bells and whistles that came with it! It's not only a perfect match for my other guitars - it sounds great for the price! I definitely will be shopping with you guys again in the future!
Thanks a million
Can't really complain at this price. And fretless as well. Needs setup before playing. Action, intonation, truss rod and nut. Replaced the strings with flat wounds. After all that it plays smooth!
My son wanted this for his birthday and I got it for him and he absolutely loves it, it is a good one for him to start out with and honestly I'm surprised that it actually came with everything, if anyone is thinking about wanting to learn how to play this is it
Glarry went above and beyond, it arrived with a broken truss rod they replaced it I will definitely be purchasing my instruments from them in the future what started as disappointing turned into a very good experience from them the bass was replaced though it was a different color the bass they sent plays perfectly and I barely had to do anything to set it up I have never been treated this nice from a company. Everything showed up pretty much playable out of the box (with some tuning of course!). I bought this as a set with the amp because I always wanted to learn, and have little experience in music. It plays well, and after messing with the tuning knobs on the Bass and the Amp, you can get some pretty good sounds. Feels like a good Bass for a beginner like me. Also, the blue color scheme did NOT disappoint!
Short scale bass was delivered on time. Great value for the money. Played it right out of the box. All I had to do was tune it, adjustable intonation was "close enough for country".
Guitar is great. Im a new learner so the other reviews did sold it well. I don't know if it is a me thing or if it is the guitar, but some of the strings rattle when I play them. I think its a me thing, but if it's not thats why it's 4 instead of 5 stars. Also the amp is making a weird noise. I think I blew it out after less than a week. Overall great product.
I wanted a low cost Fretless Bass because I sold my Fender Precision Fretless bass decades ago. I was very surprised at the quality of this Glarry Bass, given the super low retail price.
The cost with free shipping is downright unbelievable for what you get. It arrived quickly, I saw these being sold all over eBay but decided to buy direct from Glarry regardless

I figure that the eBay ones might be B stock or returned items. I also bought my Schecter bass and my Greg Curbow 5-string bass DIRECT from the manufacturers for the same reasons.
All I had to do to make this Glarry Fretless bass playable was a few CCW turns of the truss rod adjustment to slightly bow the neck and stop string buzz. Now it is a delight to play.
This is my second purchase of the mini bass guitar. It is so worth the money!! My only disappointment with this purchase is that the first one I ordered had a padded case and this one has no padding and it is so small that you can barely zip it up.
Glarry never disappoints. Picked up the GIB 5 string. Did the usual, removed the neck put 3 coats of clearcoat fret level, swapped the tuners. Copper shielded the cavity. Put it all back together, and there you go. A $120 bass that's comparable to higher priced Ibanez, Yamaha and other Asian guitars.
I thought this was not going to be a rather cheap quality setup, boy was I surprised. Yes the price is low, but the quality and craftsmanship are great. I can see a few upgrades in the future, but am very very satisfied with this setup thus far.
I'm enjoying my bass guitar, apart from some challenges. Is the bass setup prior to shipping? I'm a beginner to bass, and I notice some buzz and vibration when practicing some notes. User error? I do play close to the fret. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
The Bass arrived at my home 24 hours from when I ordered it. And the box containing it was absolutely thrashed. But the contents were undamaged.
But I love this Bass. It was easy to tune and requires an aggressive hand to play. But it plays equally well to the other Bass I already own.
Got this bass guitar for my daughter, who has been playing acoustic/electric for several years, including in her marching band, which is when she started playing bass. She needed one to have at home to practice and also to jam with friends. Even taking account this is an entry level bass, the out of the box quality is great. Will definitely refer Glarry and will revisit if any new musical needs arise. I'm already looking at their 5 guitar stands...
Great bass for the money. Very lightweight, plays very well. And it's a passive bass, no 9 volt battery which is awesome. It's a little practice amp works very well. I am very happy with my purchase
Learning bass guitars do make you stand out from the crowd. The lead guitar usually expresses the face and sound of the band with an exaggerated feel, but behind it is a bass guitar that brings vitality to the same band. The bass player usually calmly performs his own performance, making the entire band's energetic heartbeat continue to beat.
Playing a electric bass guitar is easy to learn, but it's hard to master, it all depends on where you want to match. Bass guitars are very easy to get started, most people can master the basics and start playing right away, but learning best bass guitars can also be very advanced, because it is an easy-to-use instrument that can be almost as infinite as possible. The right quality of the correct tuning and playing bass guitar and the richness of the rich tones are truly fascinating. Being a bass guitar player and being able to create such a sound yourself is still a much more exciting.
