I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the body and neck. I had already planned to upgrade the pickups, bridge, pickguard, and tuners. I went with vintage Fender '64 pickups, tuners, and Fender 250L Super 250's strings. Plays and sounds high-end. I will certainly buy from Glarry again.

Sweet! All the parts and components of this kit fit great and went together fast...the set up to make it easy and fun to play took a bit longer. I had built a strat diy kit before; this is a great way to learn the mechanics of a guitar. I will buy another when they go on sale.

Fun little kit! As a kit it isn't a challenge but when you're done you have a ok cheap little guitar. Nothing a serious guitarist would want but it plays and for the price it's amazing.

This is the first guitar kit I have ever built and was truly impressed with how well the wood was prepared, very little sanding was required. Quality of the wood was great, beautiful grain without any chips, nicks, or damage from shipping. As with all kits the electrical components are of lower quality, this is how they are able to sell this product at the price point they do. For a starter guitar the components are fine and can easily be upgraded as you progress in your ability.

Great job love the quality and sound! It's definitely 1000 times better than anything First Act guitars have ever built. If you have mechanical skills then this is a simple project. May have small issues but with carpenters skills it's nothing to fear. I will definitely be buying more. Great way to supplement any income.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice this kit was considering the price. The wood is nice and everything seems to fit well. I am in the process of putting a beautiful finish on the wood. I am looking forward completing it.

Biggest problems: warped/uneven neck, seating very high on one side (higher on the treble and stock side than the rest of the neck); holes in fretboard; rough and uneven frets (to be expected, but not really apt to be playable with normal (3/32) action height even with warped neck/fretboard issue resolved without totally filing all the frets, total set-up). Biggest plusses: holes in neck/body basically line up well; tuning machine holes even, easy to install tuners; neck situation overall OK once shimming was done; body cleaner than expected, happy to be able to get mahogany at such a low price; no parts missing, all the electronics worked (with the exception of the pickups, which I can't speak to because I never wired them up, just went straight to changing them out). You don't have to be a luthier to get a $700-retail-rung result as far as playability with this kit, but if you don't have all the tools already you will end up paying $700, at least, by the time you're done putting together all the parts and tools needed to get to that result. I actually am very happy with the price, value, and result. It's just probably a proper public service to detail all this so that unsuspecting people know at least this much, or could, before buying.
