This makes Glarry #5 for me. I think they are very good for the price. They sometimes have minor imperfections and need a good set-up but you end up with a playable , decent looking guitar. Some people spend more, (sometimes MUCH more) for one guitar , than I have invested in all 5 of these. Only way a poor guy like me could have this many guitars to play with.

I am super excited to surprise my grandson with his first bass! I never thought I could afford one for him. He will be thrilled. I ordered another really cool guitar for him, but I'm saving it for his birthday. He saw the box and knew we had just looked at that guitar a couple of nights before. They come really fast :) Now he will get the surprise for Chanukah and the other one for the birthday. With this price I could afford two guitars.

Arrived in pristine condition. Finish and fit are awesome, a beautiful instrument! I wanted to explore 5-string bass and this bass feels incredible! After a setup and intonation it performs beautifully. Lovely grain and the pickups really deliver. If a maple fretboard becomes available I will purchase another!

Loved my new Bass! I do have small hands and the neck is a little on the big side, plays well and very sensitive. There were some small scratches when it arrived which was kind of sad 'cause it was brand new. I did give a 5 star but a 4.7 would have been what I wanted to do, but round up you know.

Im surprised of this little guy. Im a small person and it fits great in my hands. It has some rough edges and minor details that need adjustment like the action but nothing out of the ordinary. The gig bag that comes with it is pretty cheap and barely fits the bass. Sound wise I tested it and once the action was fixed sounded clearer, nice tone for chords but nothing too crazy. For the price I guess is great for kids and beginners.

I purchased this guitar to donate to the Blake Grannemann Memorial Scholarship Fund auction. This guitar is near perfect right out of the box, needing only a basic setup to set the action and polish the frets. The satin finish is smooth, the frets are level with no sharp ends, the neck relief was spot on, and the tuners are smooth, all for a $110 guitar is awesome. This is the first guitar I've ever owned. I'm absolutely loving it. I still can't believe I got everything for that price. I'm sure there's differences you would notice if you've been playing a long time but you'd be hard pressed to find a better starting set up. Used guitars online alone are usually in the $200 price range. This already came strung and you just throw a battery in the guitar and you can tune it easily. I'm extremely satisfied with this product

My purchase came in a few days, out of the box, no damage. With a few minutes of cleaning and tuning, the bass was ready to go. I have changed a few things on it. Went with gold colored parts. Looks awesome and plays/ sounds great!!

I bought this bass for a school in the Philippines, and it is a perfect size for the students, and after setup it plays and sounds great. Note the "after setup" part. The intonation was so bad out of the box that I thought the frets were misplaced, and considered returning it as defective. It needed a TOTAL setup, as it wasn't even close, and was totally unplayable out of the box. Truss rod, saddle height and intonation all required major adjustment. I adjusted the neck it plays pretty well, paint was pretty solid, it was packaged pretty ugly. The gig bag was cheap but the guitar overall sounded and built pretty well. They filed the 6-8 frets down so it clinks when I I strum low e on the 6th fretboard, but overall for the money it was absolutely worth it.

Overall it has been a good guitar for the price. Expect to do some fret dressing and string setup (intonation, action, etc) after changing to new strings. I also sanded the neck with 1000 grit sandpaper for a silkier feel. It is a really good looking guitar and I use it as one of my main practice guitars. My son has also started to play and uses this one quite often.

As a woman in my 70's, I bought this kid's bass after seeing several positive reviews where I could see an adult playing it, who said it could be good for older folks. I'm taking a jazz group and decided to replace my u-bass with this. This is a sharp looking acoustic bass, I love the black. It comes tuned down so I tuned it up and strings are not too high, just right. Unplugged sound carries and is warm. I plugged her into my GK Legacy 210 amp and could create my favorite vintage sound by simply putting mids and highs flat and lows on high. That's just my preference. Built-in tuner is very accurate. I got the GB short scale, it arrived when promised. It was packaged up well enough and arrived undamaged even though the outside box looked like it had been bounced and thrown about.
