I ordered the natural wood version of this bass. I'm a semi-pro jazz musician who gigged regularly for about 10 years and I have a lot of basses. I ordered this one to turn it into a piccolo bass -- the same as a regular bass but tuned an octave higher. I use it to front a band.

First, its fun to play! It's very attractive and it plays well. I was surprised how good it sounded. Volume and tone knobs are smooth. My only complaint is the "inlay" is painted on. I will definitely buy another Glarry Bass.

Let me start by saying that you can't expect to much fit and finish from such an inexpensive guitar. Having said that, I do have some issues. The neck is quite raw and "sandy", which I think will require my attention. There is some fret buzz up and down the neck, but a setup will remedy that, along with the sharp edges on the frets. Out of the box, it was better than expected but will still need a good setup which I can do myself. The biggest surprise is that the body was unfinished! Bare wood! It still needs sanding in some spots. I ordered the natural finish but was still expecting a glossy coat. This is actually fine with me because now I can give hit it with some Tru-oil and give it the finish I really want. Fretboard is very dry. Electronics work. For the money I can't really complain. Out of the box I plugged this into a Fender Champion 100. It needs a little adjusting, some intonation on two strings and raise the pickups a little. The strings are playable but they are not the Ernie Ball Slinky's I'm going to add. This is the first Stratocaster (type) guitar I've owned. I love the guitar and I love how nice it looks but according to my parents this had took away 260 dollars from their bank account but other than that this guitar works fine and it looks beautiful.

The product was better than I expected. The only thing I would've liked was an email letting me know the package was on the way as long as tracking information. I was a little worried it wouldn't get here in time. But it did and as far as I am concerned was well worth the money.

This is a pretty good sounding acoustic bass which is something considering how bad most are. Plays well but frets need sanding at the edges BIG TIME. Not a huge deal really but not a beginner task.

I only received the guitar. I'm not sure if I should be expecting a separate package with the Amp but I have sent an email.Other than than that the condition is great and I'm satisfied overall.

I'm very pleased with my Glarry GIB bass with 20W amplifier purchase. As a guitarist that just wanted to learn some bass lines for various songs, I found that the GIB bass exceeds my expectations. After an initial tuning the bass has stayed in tune very well and the intonation going up the fretboard is consistently in tune well past the 12th fret. Arrived near playable with some fretwork. Very playable neck. Sealed the open pore finish with 2 coats of past wax and buffed, came out very nice.
Perfect travel bass. Round wound strings and the dual picups great tonal range bright to mellow.
Tightened tuner posts to help hold tuner drifting.
Intonation not very close across all strings/bridge easily adjustable/typical Fender style good weight. Control cavity not sheilded but quiet/scaled pots.
Overall first impression very playable/well made. ...

This set is great to play at home and rock out to some tunes. It comes with a whammy bar that's fun as hell to use. The AMP has small feedback issues, but it's definitely a little powerhouse. Overall this guitar set is made for rockstars in the making. Great for beginners

It's a very good instrument for a beginner, with just a few little points knocking off that 5th star:
The body is quite light while the neck and head contribute a significan heft, which does cause some awkward handling that can get uncomfortable after a while
In addition, the pick-ups are quite short which can make then difficult to rest your thumb on
Otherwise, I'm very impressed with what I recieved for the pricepoint

It arrived today. I opened and played it a few hours. The strings sort of wear off on me, literally. This is my fretting hand in the photo. Sort of the cool thing tho is that I can see what part of my hands I use. My other hand has a spot where i palm mute.
I think i'll get different strings for sure. I have not yet tried to amplify it.

For the price of around 90 dollars i would say this is an absolute steal it shipped within a week there were no sharp frets the tuning stability is pretty good the pickups sound good for a 90 dollar guitar the material is nice and the finish is beautiful my only complaint is the quality of the accessories but for the price i cant really complain i would recommend getting new picks and a new cord if this is your first guitar but if you're looking for a good starter guitar and you don't want to sp ...

I found the nut to get low quality and has sharp edges. Frets seem filed on edges and polished. Light weight basswood and satin maple neck amazing.

I'm only giving 4 stars because I'm not sure of the sound quality. It shipped very quickly. Arrived in a carefully packed box. My daughter gets lots of compliments on the color. She took it to school to tune and play, so I've yet to hear it play. Overall happy with my purchase thus far.

While the bass itself was okay quality (the strings aren't the greatest) the customer service was amazing and helped me resolve any issues I had while playing the bass. Would highly recommend this bass because of the customer service, will definitely be buying from them again in the future.
