Very pleased with this guitar! Will order from Glarry again!

on Jun 09, 2020

It's no fault of Glarry but this guitar was lost by FedEx. I contacted Glarry customer service and they promptly refunded my money.

Arrived in good condition. After setup I was amazed at the sound as I've only dealt with strats before. The hollowed body make for a resonant tone. This is a very welcome addition to the collection.

I bought the Burlywood version of this guitar and it is spectacular looking and the sound is great! The guitar seems to have a really good amount of sustain. First thing you will need to do after buying this guitar is set the intonation, mine was way off. You may also need to change the strings and clean the neck. After two days of playing this guitar my left hand fingers we're turning gray from either the strings or the manufacturing process of the neck itself. There was a small dent about the ...

As a proffessional musician for over the past 30 years, I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised at how nice of an instrument the fretless bass is that I purchased! It didn't require too much set up (just a little, because I play with my strings very low) and the intonation was good as well. I love the weight of the bass, I wish I had a bass this light when I was playing 6 nights a week! The sustain is good and the neck feels great! I am recommending it to some of the young players that I ...

This is the best bang-for-the-buck instrument I've ever played. I brought this instrument to band practice. I unboxed it there, tuned it up and played it all night. This bass is easily the lightest bass I've ever played. The frets are good. No buzz. No edges extending beyond the neck. Once I stretched the stings, it stayed in tune throughout practice just fine. I felt comfortable playing it without having to adjust anything. I have two gripes: neck dive and the tone knob. As the b ...

Fash shipping and good price

on Jun 09, 2020

Great base for the money spent. My base came in two days and was perfect. The finish is flawless and the base played great right out of the box.

on Jun 09, 2020

This is an excellent guitar for the money. Mine arrived in good condition, the finish was perfect. The fretless base required some set up adjustments to the neck relief and string adjustments but that is normal with any base guitar. All in all this is a great value. You can play it like it is or swap out any electronics for upgrades, because of the low price these are great value. I also bought the fretted P Base and it played great right out of the box. I am very happy with my purchase.

Fast shipping! My grandson couldn't have been happier. Thank you!

on Jun 09, 2020

Very nice guitar! Don't care for the strings it came with and it needed some setting up but the neck and fret board are excellent! Very satisfied! Thank you

Excellent guitar - no problems with shipping, arrived in great condition. Quality of the instrument is exceptional - well worth the cost. Thanks Glarry.

For the price it's a good instrument. Tuners are a little hard to turn, pickups not high output. Not a very resonant bass, strap button fell off I repaired that. Needs setup I'll buy better strings before I do that. Fretboard it dry frets are sharp at ends and not polished. Nut is plastic and sharp ends. Bridge is good. Neck is very heavy not balanced very well. Overall not terrible for $80 but needs work. Fortunately I have lots of experience in the luthier field.

Pretty nice bass guitar. While there were a couple minor defects in the body and a very small paint smudge on the headstock, and the frets were in need of filing down, it turned out to be a killer-sounding beast! I love not only how light it is, I also love the body shape. Noted, I had ordered a black model, but I received an email explaining they were sold out, but had the sunset model available. I decided to take that as it was and I will say the pictures on the site do not do it justice. It l ...

Outstanding guitar for the money! The fretwork was top notch, the finish was perfect, and the neck plays fast. When hooked up to an amp and a noise gate, it did have some sort of phasing issue, but that could've been the noise gate. More investigation is required. I would highly recommend this guitar for beginners. Plus, it's a perfect platform for modifying since it's cheap enough to not worry too much about messing it up, so it's good for beginners in that area, too. My brother and I will be r ...

This is my 1st bass as I'm learning to play took it to my lesson today my music teacher hadn't heard of the brand but played it and is very impressed says he is gonna order one for himself definitely will be getting another bass in the near future thank you for a great product

on Jun 07, 2020

I ordered this bass because I like different body shapes than the norm. Right out of the box it is beautiful. Getting a pro setup done and then can't wait to play. Amp sounds good for its size Fret edges, which is always a deal breaker for me were nice and smooth. Definitely Recommend this bass Going to order one in every color.

Sunburst Strat really suprized me. Very little set up was needed! It played well right out of the box!!!! Can't say enough good things about this for such a low price. May get them to send me a Tele to try out .GMR

on Jun 07, 2020

Crazy Good, I bought 3 of these Tele style guitars. Couldn't decide which of the 3 finishes I narrowed down to. But at this price I bought all 3. Never owning a Glarry before I rolled the dice. I won on these. One had a small nick on the bottom of the body. Only glitch but keeping it anyway. Thank you Glarry and I am a fan and just bought another guitar and 9 guitar stand......Kory

on Jun 07, 2020

I have bought 2 guitars ( 1 strat and 1 bass) from Glarry. Let me say I am very happy with their guitar cases-really like the tweed one. Both the guitars however arrived needing at least moderate set up work. So be advised if you know how to work on guitars-then they are a good deal. I expected this at this price-so its fine. The bass I just bought sounds pretty good-as did the strat. But it really needed truss rod/neck adjustment, now has significant fret buzz ( think I will end up leveling fre ...

Very impressed. Bass arrived quickly and was packed very well. Plays great. I am happy.

on Jun 06, 2020

I'm new to the bass, so I'm maybe not the best person to review the Glarry GP Electric Bass, but I'll tell you what I know: *It's gorgeous. The finish is very, very nice. *It sounds great. I sort of expected less, honestly, from a bass at this price point. *It's not very well balanced. It's head-heavy, meaning you'll have to work at keeping it positioned--but honestly, that's such a small thing in light of how great it looks and sounds for the price.

on Jun 06, 2020

Just recieved my GP Bass from Glarry and I could not be happier! The overall craftsmanship isn excellent. From tuners to bridge, everything solid quality. I ordered the GTL guitar 10 minutes after unpacking my GP bass! Excellent job,Glarry...excellent product, prompt delivery...I'm going to be a loyal customer! Thanks again!!!

on Jun 06, 2020

Surprisingly well made for the price and sounds just fine. However, the strings were all almost half an inch above the fretboard when it came out of the box. Even after adjusting the bridge to the lowest it could go and tightening the truss rod, the action height is still uncomfortably high and ends up producing a lot of buzz. This may have been a special issue with my specific instrument, but I would take this into consideration before purchasing.

on Jun 05, 2020

Wonderful company answered my questions before purchasing and when I decided on the GJazz in burlywood it was shipped very fast and got here in great shape. This was my second Glarry and both are exceptional in playability and finish.

Individual brass saddles are a nice addition to this guitar. The frets are rolled nicely, and they was no fret buzz. The.neck size is improved from past models for a comfortable feel and the output jack works well without any connection issues. The color of the guitar is really nice and three are no blemishes in the finish. The pickups have ba better sound as well with less monophonic issues. All in all, this is a good guitar as is without upgrades.

Decent for the price but it will take a lot of setup to get it comfortable to play. I won't buy another one of these but I am interested in their jazz bass. Not too happy with the High E string being very close to the edge fretboard.

First, I wish I could have bought a guitar like this when I started back in 1966. Cheap guitars back then were terrible, This is a good guitar for $69.99. Yes the truss rod can use an adjustment, the tuners are only OK and it doesn't stay in tune all that well. I saw that the action was high, but then I decided to use it as a slide guitar. Perfect! It's not very expensive to do a set up on this guy and it would be fine. Great for beginners and Modders. Again, for $69.99 how can you NOT get ...

I decided 2 weeks ago I wanted to learn how to play a new instrument. For $80, this was a great investment. I'm already having a blast jamming with my bass.

on Jun 04, 2020

I have never touched an instrument before in my life. During quarantine, I just decided, "bass, why not." The price is NOT A SCAM!! Yes, there is some glossy finish that is peeling slightly at the corner, but that is an easy fix. I am 16 years old but the reported "thick neck" of the bass didn't phase me at all. I'm sure I haven't tuned it properly because I'm learning off youtube videos, but it sounds great, and that's coming from a jazz enthusiast. It's a relatively light guitar and isn't too ...
