The guitar arrived safely. Intonation had to be set, action lowered, tuners replaced, lightly sanded the back of the neck. Fret work is surprisingly very good. After these adjustments the guitar plays and sounds great. Great low priced platform to do mods with.

The Glarry telecaster I purchased is a beautiful guitar. Out of the box it needs a little setup I adjusted the neck set the string height and intonation. I put a set of good strings on it while I had the strings off I shielded the pickup cavities I smoothed out the neck with some steel wool and tru oiled the neck. Put it back together and have a great sounding guitar. You cannot beat it for the price I will be purchasing more.

Like many of the reviews I found, for the money, this is an pretty good bass. Out of the box it just needed a tune up. The action is a little high for my liking but by no means bad. Electrical noise, at least playing through a USB sound card, is very low to not noticeable. A great first bass and probably one that will hang around ....... if you have enough space :)

IF you are a beginner, the first thing you should do is buy a Glarry instrument. They are not the absolute 'top of the line' 'best you can buy', but they are good quality instruments, and their price is AMAZING. I am insanely pleased! I would and have recommended to friends already.

This was a great example of the GIB 5 string Bass. All I did was tune up, and I was off to the races recording into my Audiobox USB 96. The accessories are great, but don't count on any impact protection from the gig bag. I'm new to bass, but intermediately experienced in guitar in a studio setting, and I'd highly recommend this for the price.

Glarry Tele Thinline Style Amber color. For the Price I give it a 5. The playability I give it a 4. Pickups and Electronics, Tuners Hardware etc. I give it a 4. The Neck i give it a 3, i had to do a truss rod adjustment, the frets are ok, no fret buzz on mine. So Overall this is a 4 Star Guitar in my opinion for what it is Im going to put a better neck on it. This guitar finish is nice, pics are enclosed.

My first Glarry purchase,in Sunset to match my Ridgewood Strar Sunset. Up and ready to go soon after being out of the box. Quite impressed to be honest. Only real issue was bent fine hex tool. As a note to purchasers Hermes were very fluid in this delivery which almost left me speechless. Since delivery I've ordered Glarry Bass Strings & Dedicated Kinsman Bass Amp from the online Market Place. I would & will order Glarry again.

This review is based on the sum of its issues compared to the price. Things I found wrong with it: Fret ends are slightly sharp, nut is sharp and cheap, finish on body was not quite buffed out properly, cheapest bridge I've seen on any bass, volume and tone knobs don't work properly together (wiring issue or cheap pots), strings don't align with pickups very well, pickup screws installed and different angles, NECK DIVE, extremely light body (causing neck dive), not set up properly, some buzzing ... This review is based on the sum of its issues compared to the price. Things that I found were decent: Overall appearance, back of the neck was big but feels really smooth, the bass sounded good through rig, overall the bass is light, stays in tune well enough (had not played it very hard yet). Things I found that were good: The price. Overall, everything about this bass can be changed or tweaked for it to play better except for one, the light body. I plan on replacing the nut, filing the frets, either rewire or replace the pots, and probably put a heavier set of strings on it. I would normally put on a hi-mass bridge but the body doesn't warrant it. I can't imagine the wood in this body makes any difference in the sound. I think it is all pickup. The pickups do sound pretty good for stock pickups, but that could also be my rig. The neck is thick but I'm ok with that. The back of the neck may have some oil or penetrating finish on it but it does feel unfinished and my hand slides easily on it. And because of the Jazz style body shape, it's comfortable to play when sitting down. All that being said, the overall feel of the bass is cheap. I'm going to use this bass for when I play or practice playing songs that are tuned down. I am not really a 5 string player nor do I want to be. I wanted to buy an inexpensive bass for the tunings and this will work fine for me. I would not recommend it to be used as a platform to build a better bass, the body is just to light. For the $134 I paid for this, it's worth every penny but not one more. As a starter bass, someone would have to set it up properly and fix some issues. I consider myself an intermediate player, and if this was hanging up in a store, I would not have purchased it. I wanted to see what the hype on the internet was all about on these Glarry basses. And maybe I got one with a lack of real quality control, but, for the most part I would not recommend it. I did give it 3 stars though, due to the fact that for the price you could buy a bass that is playable or tweaked to something better.

First thing I noticed was the strings were not centered between the pickup poles. The supplied bridge was just a bit to narrow for the string spacing and those pickups. I had a 17 mm bridge and it solved that part of the problem, the other was the Pickups were set too deep to be really responsive on highs, just a bit of plastic-foam under each allowed me to bring them up and achieve better balance between the 2 pickups. Ordered on Thursday, arrived on Tuesday. Took it out of the box, tuned it up, and it sounded great. Twangy on the bridge pickup, clean in the middle setting, and mellow on the neck pickup. Except for the headstock shape and the Glarry logo, I think most people would be hard pressed to tell it from a real Fender Tele. Can't wait to get it onstage and crank it up!

My Glarry GP Bass was a screaming bargain and a great value. The fit and finish on my natural wood-grained, left-handed sample is perfect. The action was smooth and amazingly low right out of the box, yet with no fret buzz anywhere along the fretboard. The lower weight makes is comfortably light, even though it is a standard long-scale 34" design. I had high hopes after reading the other reviews. After a lot of work, I have a playable instrument. First the bad points...The back of the neck has a big dip in the nut-1st fret area where it was over sanded that looks and feels awful. The bridge (and nut) are too narrow for the fingerboard. The pickups are non-standard width so aftermarket upgrades will not fit. The bass is incredibly neck heavy whether with a strap or sitting. There were many rough spots on the back of the neck. Excellent! It arrived in perfect condition, tuned it up and ready to go! Playable right out of the box honestly I wasn't expecting much for the price, and to my surprise I got a solid guitar for a fraction of the price of my Schecter! Fender should be scared! It is a bit smaller than a normal electric guitar but it's due to the shape. it has a full 24 frets with a nice cutout for the higher notes.
