The guitar is less glossy in person than what the picture makes it out to be, but it sounds great and is a solid guitar. It was also delivered a day before what was estimated, so I am very satisfied with that. I would totally recommend it to a beginner or someone who wants a cheap guitar with a good sound.
The blue to black sunburst body finish is beautiful, the pickups have a decent sound. The neck is uncomfortably fat like a baseball bat and the action cannot be lowered far enough to make it play correctly...the bridge saddles are already at maximum depression. That being said, it is worth the price. I'm tempted to buy it a better neck and leave the rest as-is.
Amazing instrument, just PLEASE abandon the tremolo, the floating one doesnt work and isnt good for beginners.
I have 2 of these now, and a GTL, and I'm very much wanting to trade them in for GTL's because of that one part. The rest of the GST is flawless. Really cant beat it besides the god awful floating trem.
Big thanks to glarry.
I did spend about 10 hours, 6 broken strings, a few swears, and bumps and dents, stripped saddle screws and what not to figure out what the problem was.

I have one of the GST's being shipped to my house right now I was going to send to a friend, but now knowing about this floyd rose tremolo I'm going to have to return that for a GTL and hopefully replace mine as well. I love them. We'll be buying strings in bulk for a while I fear.
I'm 34 and I've been playing guitar since high school and I've owned several guitars. I bought this guitar as a project guitar and also to try out the telecaster style guitar. Overall I really like this guitar and I enjoy playing it after making some improvements.

Likes: Good price. I found the neck to be very comfortable with no fret-sprout and no obvious high frets. As my first maple fretboard, I found it pleasingly bright sounding. The saddles and truss rod work properly and were easy to adjust. Same for pickups. The body looks great just like the pictures. Shipping happened next day and took about 1 week to arrive in Southern California.
What you miss out on due to low price: Minor shipping damage, it ships in a flimsy cardboard box with minimal padding. Mine had a dent in the headstock and the pickup selector and volume knob were slightly bent but still functional. The guitar's neck has uneven sanding, but mostly good. The frets could use polishing. Needed setup especially intonation out of the box. Some of the tuning pegs were loose, as was the output jack. Hairline fractures on the body where the neck sits. Some tuning pegs grind and require a careful touch.
Dislikes: Some of the tuning pegs have sharp metal bits around the holes. I was able to scrape some of this off. The saddle also has some sharp metal bits on the low and high e string holes. The high e string hole in saddle has a string sized notch at the top (see photo). The original small e string broke in a day near the saddle, I'm guessing it's related.
Upgrades I installed: Brass Gotoh compensated saddles for spot-on intonation, big improvement! TUSQ nut and string trees for stable tuning. All together about $50.
Some details not on the store page: Fretboard radius was 14-15 in my rough measurement. Tuning pegs appear to have 10mm holes. Nut is approximately 41 x 3 x 5 x 35 (length, width, height, e to e) all in mm. Allen wrenches for truss rod and saddles are included.
The action was a mile high and the nut wasn't properly seated, but aside from these minor issues the bass was delivered as described and in good condition. The pickups are usable and the neck was finished nicely. Overall for 107 dollars I feel this bass is a good value.
Not bad at all! I love the feel of the neck! Great job Glarry! I setup the neck and got the intonation set. Plugged into the headrush pedal board amp simulator and this guitar rocks for the money! It definitely has a Stratocaster style sound. Once i dialed in the same type rig Jimmy Hendrix used, The glarry guitar had no problems with getting that old strat tone. Very well made guitar for the money. I plugged it in and gave ita fast tune. Sounds amazing and the intonation wasn't to far from perfect pitch straight out thebox! Just have to do some tweaks. I'll do a review on YouTube. These things sound great once setup and tuned! No problem in a studio!
My husband was so excited he couldn't believe. He loves it and I was very surprise that the amplifier fit into the box also. We are both happy and he ls taking lessons. The look is amazing, thank you for package is made things a lot easier.
The packaging could be better, the box showed that it had a rough trip. The Guitar had damage on the head stock, looking like it was dropped on that side. Double boxing would probably take care of that.
The finish and playability were good upon arrival needing only the action lowered a bit, and the pickup height adjusted.
The electronics all work, the bridge & tremolo functional, the controls all move well and the tuners actually work pretty good.

The shipping packaging is the only con I could come up with. Great value & playability for a great price.
Bought this for our daughter for Christmas. She loved the sound and the rich color. Great buy and great sound for the price! Highly recommend. Shipping was fast and bass came in undamaged packaging.
For the money the quality is very good.I would recommend this to someone who likes to not spend a lot but get their monies worth.Cosmetically really nice.
I recieved the guitar and it would not stay in tune. By the time I finished tuning the 6th string to the 1st string...the 6th was out of tune again. I contacted Glarry and they sent a new set of tuners. Great customer service.
The guitar was delivered in a timely fashion. It appears to be on pristine shape. I do not like the strings, they are super sharp. I am having the guitar setup bu a professional guitar tech. I like the way it looks. I like the way it feels in my hands. I bought this guitar because i wanted a lightweight telecaster. It feels great. I plan to change out the pickups, ebonize the fret and change the tuners but that is in the future. I would recommend this guitar to anyone who is at the beginning of their journey. Pickup one that looks nice to you and get to practicing. A $5000 guitar will not play better when you still can't change chords lol. Dont be afraid guitar buddies. At this price point you can spend money on some behringer pedals and get to rocking.
Very nice for the price. Neck a bit chunky for my tastes but just a preference thing. Pickguard cut a bit sloppy but other than that top notch and very lightweight bass.
I received my Jazz Bass on time and in excellent condition. I will have to admit this Bass is even with the cost. I received and did a setup on the neck, and it plays very well. The pick-ups are not what I would normally choose, but there again the cost is very low. So if I add another 100.00 bucks, to purchase a set of moderate pickups, I will own a playable Bass for less than 200.00 dollars. That is un-heard of in this country. Overall it was a wise investment. If Glarry Guitars was to upgrade ...I received my Jazz Bass on time and in excellent condition. I will have to admit this Bass is even with the cost. Really impressed with the quality of this budget priced bass, bought it as a starter guitar for my daughter. For the price the quality and finish is superb, it can be played straight out of the box. I'll put tit through a proper set up, as you would expect with any new instrument it needs to be tweaked slightly, but I would 100% recommend this guitar to anyone starting out.
Bought the black "Burning Fir" for my 17 yr. old nephew who wants to learn how to play. This is the guitar he picked-out on-line. Sharp looking guitar and after tuning it, he was able to play a few riffs. Disappointed that I missed out on the 'bundle' deal of guitar and amp for $99. Oh well, my dad bought my nephew a 20 amp Fender through Amazon. Guitar & amp sound great and my nephew is loving it!! My brother plays acoustic and was able to play 'wipe-out' on it. The shipping handlers did have some holes in the box, but with the foam padding, the guitar didn't appear to be damaged. I was given 2 shipping numbers , but I e-mailed Glarry a couple of times and they responded within a few days assuring me that only 1 order was placed. Indeed, that was accurate. Very quick shipping - thank you!!
All in all, I'm a happy customer and the recipient of the guitar is THRILLED!!!
Excelente compra. Superó mis expectativas. El sonido es muy bueno. La faja y el estuche no son de buena calidad, pero está muy bien por el precio Pagado
Brutally honest review ahead. had I know this was made in China I NEVER would have bought it... HOWEVER... I am VERY impressed with the product for the price. I have several vintage guitars from the 1960s but wanted her to learn on something modern and new. I am VERY happy with my Glarry GST electric guitar! I got the blue model for her and it looks great and sounds great. The tone and volume knobs work great, the tremelo bar is fine and it took the simplest of tunings to get this guitar sounding great. I've played it out of 2 different amps including the one it came with which was great as well. Folks and fellow musicians.... this is a fine little guitar at an amazing price point. Its so worth it just to buy one and have it in you collection. Glarry you've done well... just wish you could take China out of the production but I understand why the price is what it is. Overall very satisfied!!!
The guitars is one of the three major musical instruments in the world originated from Spain, which is divided into acoustic guitar and electric guitar, which have obvious differences. Ukulele is small exquisite and easy to carry, easier to learn and play.
Guitar Shop and Guitar official website is the choice for most people to buy a guitar. The brand and material of the guitar are two important factors that most people choose.
