I carefully made height measurements and sanded down the bridge top to the proper height. In time I plan to replace the strings with better quality ones, but the stock strings will get me through the fundamentals of playing. Setup was straightforward and I got playing within minutes. It's not a professional?grade instrument, but for learning, practice, or experimenting with electric violin sound, it definitely does the job.
It didn't tell me when it arrived so I had to guess and check everyday but other then that the product itself works great and looks fantastic I will definitely be buying again .

As a first violin for my child's school orchestra class, it is ideal. She says it's comfortable to hold and doesn't feel heavy, even after a long practice.
