Got this cello for my wife for Christmas, and she loves it. It sounds good for a starter cello, and looks good as well. Black Friday deal and we received incredible value for our money. I had a local shop set it up properly for $40. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend as a starter cello.

While my granddaughter's cello was on back order and wasn't received in time for Christmas, Glarry stayed in constant contact with me to follow up on my order. When we received it, it was worth the wait! Starting with the beautiful case we were amazed at the quality for such a reasonable price. I would definitely order from Glarry again.

I am giving this 5 stars because for a starter cello it is better than I expected it to be. The strings it came with are not high quality by any means but they are good even to start with. It took about 5 days for the strings to stretch and the whole instrument to settle so it would stay in tune. I used peg dope on the pegs and oiled the fine tuners like I would do to the violins. Truly an amazing product, I simply cannot thank Glarry Music enough! My review has come a tad bit late but after nearly two months playing my cello I can honestly say it was very much worth it.

I was shopping for an electric cello and this one seemed promising, I liked the way it looked, so I purchased the GC301 however, after receiving and trying it I couldn't make it work the way it was intended; I contacted Glarry's customer service and after a few questions and explanation I was able to return it and received a refund; tough I wasn't satisfied with the instrument I'm very happy with their customer service and will not hesitate to buy another Glarry instrument; thank you!

I briefly owned a cheap cello, bought from one of the major online sellers and it was so bad I ended up donating it to a thrift store, so I was reluctant to buy another cheap priced cello, but after watching a professional cellist playing and reviewing a Glarry cello online I decided to give the GC201 cello a try; it arrived today, in perfect condition and I'm very happy with it; it's very well made, it plays well and only a minor bridge adjustment will be needed, for me; it's very good overall ...

Arrived in great condition! Cello is exactly as described. Some of the reviews I've read prior to purchasing said it doesn't stay in tune. I only partially agree with that. At first it was hard to keep in tune, but as I played it more and the strings settled in, it's proven to stay in tune just fine. Love the quality, and especially for the cost. Very pleased.

As an adult hoping to teach myself the instrument I'd chosen the Glarry 4/4 cello based on the better reviews I've seen. All in all I'm quite content with it, no tuning issues, the strings took tune without snapping on me which has happened a few times with economically priced instruments in the past, I'm happy with the general look and feel of the instrument and I'm confident with adjustments I should be quite happy with it.

The product matched its description. The shipment was quick. It's of good quality and very affordable. My daughter is learning to use it at school as she is part of the orchestra, which is a great beginning.

Really impressed by this cello. Absolutely great price for an entry level instrument. You can learn cello basics without breaking the bank. There is no Customer Support with Glarry Music anymore. Within a month after buying a Glarry GC301 cello, the neck came off the cello. I reported this immediately and sent a picture using their system. I received emails from [email protected] (customer service) for a couple of weeks asking me the most pointless questions I ever encountered. This was mysterious to me because CS never revealed who I was communicating with, no greetings, no signatures and no results. I was finally made two offers, ...

This full-size acoustic black cello was a birthday present to my best friend who turned 30 on his birthday and he has been wanting a cello for as long as I have known him. When he opened the case and saw the cello, he was speechless and for him, that was a FIRST. The cello is magnificent in its style and appearance. The quality is above reproach and has made both my friend and me very happy with the cello. Thank you for producing such an outstanding musical instrument.

The bow broke within two days, the bridge is a little high and the strings are not the best. A good starting cello but could be better if you put a little money into it to get a new bow, bridge and strings. Good for the price and is playable

I've been wanting to learn how to play the cello and finally decided to give it a shot with this student cello. I was nervous because this is my first time buying a musical instrument online. It arrived well packaged with not a scratch or ding. All this for a cello newbie and so far I'm off to a great start! The sound is lovely. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase!

Great for beginner and not so expensive if changes mind. I am actually learning to play (senior adult) and glad I could afford it. Something I've always wanted to learn and enjoying every minute!

I got this for my 5th grader, it was a great price for a starter versus renting. Easy set up. Teacher tuned and everything and it sounds great.

Though I am not an expert in what concerns the cello, I know what I have received: a beautiful and very cool and fully functional instrument with no damages. I tried playing it and it sounds like those I have seen and heard when I was researching on this musical instrument. Very good instrument. It was shipped quickly and arrived faster than expected. There was a hole in the box, but the Instrument is very well protected, there was no damage. I was surprised by the quality of the instrument for the price charged. Small adjustments were needed to make the strings lower, but it was simple. Very good sound.

The instrument looks so beautiful and definitely worth the money. Our cello teacher says this is a good piece for beginner. It may not a good fit for professionals but for students, the piece does the job great!
