I'm a beginner at bass and I've been playing this every day! It's great quality for the price. The neck is a little thicker than the standard electric guitar neck but that's not an issue for me, the design is overall very sleek and the pickups are wonderful. The amp has the classic set of controls for volume, high, mids, bass. Works great, haven't had any issues so far - I would recommend for beginning players because of the great price point, but anyone would be able to enjoy this bass.

Nice looking bass. It is light weight but very neck heavy. I will be replacing the strings with a better set.Very nice bass for the price.

Sweet little guitar..... very light weight.... so would suit a younger player..... good to learn on..... Played straight out of the box after tuning...... May require minor tweaking to the truss rod & adjustment of the bridge to achieve perfect string height & intonation.... Blue coluur on the front blending into black on the back gives a nice look to the finish.... Very satisfied with the guitar in general for the price...... Now waiting for the Burning Fire sunset edition to come back in s ...

Great inexpensive P Bass. I like it better than my Squier. Good looks, light weight and sounds great (with a set of Roto Sound Flat Wounds on it). Absolutely amazing for an instrument at this price point. Photo is me with the bass. I'm a big Devo fan and the bass matches my Devo Energy Dome. Nice and light for a 70 year old guy (my Fenders weigh a ton).

This is our second Glarry bass, and both have been fine. My brother has been playing bass for 45 years and he was very impressed with how well they play, even compared to his $5,000 basses! The build quality is very good. I did set up both instruments after checking them out. The relief was off a bit so I loosened the truss rod. Lowered the bridge; the action was a bit too high. The honeymoon is over after half an hour.. The ashtray doesn't line up with the neck!!! High E tends to slide off the fret board above the 9th fret.I hope I can solve the problem, but, for beginners, they would probably give up guitars. I have to route out the pu cavity, and reposition the ashtray about 3/8ths of an inch, towards the bass side. While I'm at it, I'm gonna move it all forward, to fill in the space between the ashtray and scratch plate. In my opinion, this would be more work than s ...

This guitar is so much better then I thought it could be. As a life long musician who is on a very VERY tight budget due to Covid-19 I thought I would give this a try, not expecting much, wow was I wrong!! The GIB 5 string arrived on time, but the box was badly damaged. I thought for sure the Bass would damaged, but to my surprise it is not. The Bass plays pretty good for the price paid. I plan to change the pickups because they are pretty weak, especially on the Low B string. I've replaced the pickups on my Glarry Jazz Bass 4 string for the same reason. I will also put flatwound strings on the Bass. The tuning keys seem to be holding up for now, but I might put Gotoh tuners on in the future. I pu ...

Just got my new bass and I love it. The deal is fabulous. The only issue I've had is the strap that comes with it is a little short for me. I like to play with my bass slung a bit lower. I'll bet I can find a good deal on one here. If you want to play a bass guitar, you can't go wrong with this package
