I bought this guitar because of the low price, and from watching YouTube.
I honestly expected nothing more than an ISO (instrument shaped object) to arrive at my door. What I received was a promptly delivered (for free shipping), excellent musical instrument. The only thing this guitar required out of the box was a 15 minute intonation job. The nut was set right. The tuners were better than I expected. The finish was also better than I expected.
This guitar sounds, feels and plays better than my '95 Mexican Strat. And because it lacks the sentimental value of such, I am inclined to customize the hell out of this guitar and have an everyday player.
Very impressed by this product, and it has opened the door to my considering other Glarry products.

Upon initial inspection of the guitar when it arrived Friday, I found a large crack in the neck pocket. The guitar was shipped loosely packed in a flimsy single wedge shaped cardboard box. All the guitars I've received in the past have been double boxed to help protect from shipper handling. I immediately emailed Glarry to have the defective guitar returned and replaced. I haven't heard back at this point. Once this issue is resolved, I'll post an updated review.

This is my second yellow GTL semi-hollow, I returned the first for the same issue: the bridge is placed low and is mounted crooked. The first string is barely over the bridge pickup pole piece and the string through body holes are mostly covered by the bridge. It is easy to see how the bridge is rotated if you examine the distance between the top of the bridge plate and the bottom of the pickguard. The guitar arrived promptly and overall looked good, a few sharp frets but for the price point it's to be expected. The reason this review is 4 stars and not 5 is because the screw in the top tuner arrived bent which caused the tuner to lean. This shouldn't be a major issues to fix, but it would have been nice if the guitar was playable out of the box.
The glarry GP base is one of four instruments that I have bought from Clarry instruments all I can say is I love the four bass guitars I bought and I'm thinking of getting a fifth because the prices are so great I highly recommend they're basic guitars because I'm very satisfied with all four of the bass guitars I have so thank you again Glory keep up the good work
Love the quality of the bass for the price. Well put together. The sound with the amp is amazing. Glarry products can stand side by side with any of the big names out there. I will be purchasing more products from Glarry, without a doubt!
Sure, the hardware (tuners, bridge, knobs) are a little on the "affordable" side...however-it plays very well-especially for the price! Most peeps that purchase this bass will probably swap out their own electronics and hardware anyway. And I don't have any complaints about it being too "neck-heavy"...the necks could probably be a smidge thinner in circumference-but, at $99, who's complaining?

I don't know how to appreciate this wonderfully crafted nice little adorable guirtar by Glarrys Guitar. It feels and plays as smooth as silk for me. I didn't expect anything like this. I found a splinter of the soft wood, but it didn't affect the guitar,justthe look became a bit ugly, nothing else. Amazing bass! I'm a beginner but I'm extraordinarily surprised at the quality for the cost. I was expecting the wood to feel cheap and the strings to be unbearable, but it really punches above its weight. If your a beginner looking for a cheap good bass, this is it.

There are tiny imperfections in the overall finish but nothing a person would notice without a very careful examination, and nothing that harms the sound or playability. In fact, the sound is so good it's hard to believe it's coming from a guitar in this price range ($119.99). Right out of the box, it has one of the better set-ups I've ever played and leaves me feeling like it's simply easier to play than guitars costing five times the price. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and have no reservations recommending Glarry guitars to others. I told a family member of my experience, and they've purchased two Glarry guitars on my recommendation. One was excellent right out of the box, and the other had some issues which my sister was able to fix on her own (she's fairly handy with tools). Glarry gets five-stars from me. I think they fully deserve it.

They shipped out a replacement guitar right away. I was holding my breath when the replacement arrived and I found that it was in great condition. I have to say that I couldn't be happier. It doesn't sound like a $1000 guitar but at less than a tenth of that price, no one should expect it to. But it sounds far better than any sub-$100 has a right to sound. I'm extremely happy with it. It was very playable right out of the box, but I've made a couple of adjustments (truss rod, and saddles), and now it plays as nicely as any of my more expensive guitars. In fact, since it arrived, my three other guitars (all in the $600 range), haven't seen much use. Why wear out expensive guitars as you practice with the Glarry sounds so nice, plays so well, and looks just as good? My hat is off to Glarry. I have no problem recommending them to friends and family. In fact, I've done just that, and one family member bought two of them and seems to be very happy with the purchase.

But it still shorts out at times if I'm sitting and leaning downward. Hey I used to be a pretty darn good solderer at a camera shop. Maybe I would get a 200-300 dollar bass next to play out with. Very light, pretty cool looking finish too. Intonation was all I had to mess with for a nice little guitar. I have a few complaints, but nothing I didnt expect from such a great price.
The one thing I dont love (hence the three stars) is the crack in the body. I can't quite tell if this is in the paint, or wood, but it is a pretty substantial crack that wraps around the guitar.

Great bass at its price point! Shipped through UPS, so I was updated with where the guitar was at during the shipping process, and it got here right on time. This bass is exactly what I was expecting, and I am looking forward to learning to play bass on it. Love the yellow color!
