My first Glarry instrument and I am completely satisfied with this bass; the craftsman quality for an instrument at this price is just unbelievable; the action is just right for my taste, the frets are properly set; I have (brand new) $1,500 basses that I had to file or adjust some frets that were sticking out and I was definitely surprised to not have this problem with the Glarry GJazz; I chose the Burlywood; it's beautiful and the finish is very well done; I'm now, confident with Glarry instru ...My first Glarry instrument and I am completely satisfied with this bass; the craftsman quality for an instrument at this price is just unbelievable; the action is just right for my taste, the frets are properly set; I have (brand new) $1,500 basses that I had to file or adjust some frets that were sticking out and I was definitely surprised to not have this problem with the Glarry GJazz; I chose the Burlywood; it's beautiful and the finish is very well done; I'm now, confident with Glarry instruments and today I ordered another one of their products; I highly recommend the GJazz bass if you're a beginner and don't want to spend a fortune on an instrument you might not stick with, as well as if you're a veteran musician like myself
I have to admit, for the price of this Bass Guitar my expectations were pretty low. But when it arrived and I unboxed it, I was blown away. Of course it arrived de-tuned, the string tension was reduced so the neck wouldn't deform during storage in the warehouse and the shipping time. The tone was perfect and I have no idea why other reviewers didn't like the factory installed strings, because I found them to be completely functional and I have no interest in replacing them until they actually wear out. I'm by no means a professional musician, I purchased the Bass to provide backup to my wife's Mandolin and it will be perfect for that function. It is pretty, well made, holds tune, and sounds great, and a great value for the price. What more needs to be said?
This bass arrived in less than perfect shape due to a shipping snafu during literally the hottest days of the year! The fingerboard was extremely dry, and the neck was bowed. After a week of allowing the bass to acclimate to its new home, making daily small adjustments to the truss rod, it was brought into decent relief. Daily applications of Neck Honey brought back the fretboard to acceptable condition. I leveled, crowned, and polished the frets. Daily applications of Neck Honey brought back the fretboard to acceptable condition. I leveled, crowned, and polished the frets. All of this effort was rewarded with a very easy playing and fun instrument that is great for a guitar player who occasionally picks up a bass, like me. After the basics of playability had been addressed I decided that it would be nice to have a more gutsy tonal palate on tap, so I added a MusicMan-style humbucker in place of the bridge pickup, coil split wiring, a five-way switch, master volume and separate push-pull tone pits that select caps for different tone coloring. Probably not a project that a novice would want to undertake, but it does provide an example of what can be done with this bass. The basic "bones" are good, materials solid, fit and finish is OK - nothing to complain about at this price point. Good instrument for kids or adults looking for a short scale bass.
1st time Guitar purchaser. I purchased this for my 16 year old grand daughter who wants to learn to play bass. The primary reason for this specific guitar is because she is 4'9" and I felt the smaller style would fit her stature better. She had expressed a desire to find a smaller bass as well... so this seemed like the right choice. I watched several reviews on YouTube of various small bass guitars, and this specific guitar GW101 was used by by a 12 year old young woman with the name EllenPlaysBass and she gave it a very solid review. Neither I or my grand daughter have guitar experience, so this purchase was based more on wants, needs and price for an introduction. It must have been a winner! She got it out of the box and started to play it immediately, and her mother indicates it sounds very good. (I am in another state). She loves the Red color, and says it had no visual imperfections or issues. From order to arrival was less than 5 days.
Ok let me start by saying I know nothing about guitars. From what I can tell everything is included w instructions on how to assemble.
My intention was to create a custom one off paint job as an art piece so having a low priced guitar was fine & I love the shape of this. It should go well with the Heavy Metal theme Im planning.
At the last minute a friend advised me to get some better hardware so Ill be replacing some of the included hardware with higher end gear.

This will be given away after its been painted and built. Ill post a video of the finished product.
So far Im amped.
Tuning pegs broke after barely turning it while tuning. very disappointing. need a refund!!

I don't think I've ever been more impressed with a budget instrument out of the box. The bass arrived quickly and well packaged. I don't think I've ever written a five star review for anything, but this bass is an exception.
Now, as always, there were issues that come with any budget instrument, particularly one this cheap.
1. The neck was bowed and there was ZERO tension on the truss rod. A few turns of the included allen key, and the neck straightened right up.

2. The outside edges of the nut are cut very bluntly. It won't cut your hand, but running into that sharp plastic is quite uncomfortable. 60 seconds of light sanding with one of my girlfriend's emory boards fixed the issue.
3. The poll pieces of the pickups are not properly aligned. This is more of a rule than an exception, especially with instruments of this price range. I notice no significant change in the volume of the affected strings.
The first two issues were easily corrected and the third doesn't seem to affect tone, volume, or playability.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this bass to a beginner, or a seasoned player like myself looking to expand their tonal arsenal.
Outstanding. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nice beginner guitar for the price. Has great tone. Built in tuner, works great. Delivery time was very quick. Finish is very nice. I plugged into my amplifier and everything worked perfectly. I definitely recommend for a beginner or someone on a budget.
As a girl who is more on the petite end of the spectrum I can say that this bass works pretty good from a beginners perspective its my first bass and ive been able to reach all the frets just fine. Although its definitely up to a standard far past beginner I have enjoyed its size and weight discounting the non even distribution there of.
Sounds good and nice action. Cheap case, but very happy with the bass and all included pieces. Only one pick, but I won't be using for bass anyway. Well worth buying. Fast arrival also.
This was a nice kit to assemble. I'm glad I had a professional builder to help me though. It goes together as easy as advertised. I had to do all of the tuning to get it to sound great. That is where an experienced builder comes in. It would be worth spending money on having a shop set it up after you build it.
EDIT: After playing this bass for a few months I am definitely unhappy with the Active Electronics. While getting an active bass for this price is great--the 9volt is constantly being used even when the bass is not plugged in. Please note you will have to remove your 9volt every time you play this thing so it doesn't die on you while its sitting on the rack. Definitely would recommend the passive version
As a long time 4 string player I was not sure if I wanted to add one string or two. After a friend of mine really enjoyed his Glarry 5 string, I figured I'd check out the six and see if it was for me. Overall, I'm very impressed--the bass came surprisingly well set up and after throwing in my 9volt and tuning I was essentially good to go. If you're like me and trying to learn how to play a six string, this might be the right purchase for you. A lot of folks in these reviews seem to speak to buzzy electronics, but I haven't noticed much on my end. Six strings naturally have some string resonance/buzzing if not muted properly, and most of the unwanted noise I seem to have is a result of that and my playing and not the pickups. Its also kind of strange that the frets actually extend a little past the neck? I have noticed that while my action is pretty ideal at frets 1-15 neck, when you get to about fret 20 or so it becomes a lot more difficult to effectively fret these strings. Not sure if this is something I'll be able to solve on my own by making adjustments, or if the neck is just a little funky/warped. Even if that is the case, I think I got my money's worth here just being able to experiment with the two additional strings and learning proper muting technique. I would not call this professional quality nor do I think I would risk gigging with it, but I would absolutely recommend it to a "student" or someone like myself who is not playing professionally. Considering a lot of six strings are 4x this much, it certainly is a great value
Really nice guitar, I like mine but I also ordered a stand with the guitar, it hasn't arrived yet. but the guitar is really nice. I recommend.

Great guitar, plays well. great customer service, very good. hope this helps.
Glarry has really stepped up their game. The Gjazz Bass is beautiful. The finish is flawless. I use Glarrys as the basis for heavily modified builds. Is was planning on painting the body, but the finish was so nice I'm going to keep it natural (burlywood). For the price, you can't beat the quality.
For less than $100, you literally cannot beat it. Had mine for about 2 days now, plays great, sounds great, literally no complaints. Obviously this isn't the cleanest luthier job i've ever seen, i can see glue inside, marks from filing, etc, but if you're spending this little on an acoustic bass, you can't complain. It plays and sounds great, comfortable, and as an intermediate bass player of 10 years, I can actually say I recommend this bass, as long as you aren't paying more than $100.
I purchased an electric bass guitar from Glarry Music, and I've been extremely satisfied with it. From the day it arrived, everything has worked perfectly, and it continues to perform well even after extended use. The build quality and sound are impressive, especially for the price. I've had no issues with the instrument, and it's been a reliable part of my setup. Definitely a great buy for anyone looking for a solid and affordable bass guitar!
I purchased an acoustic guitar as part of a set, intending to save time by getting everything I needed in one order. Unfortunately, the aux cable that came with the guitar was non-functional. Having to find a replacement for something that should have worked out of the box was disappointing and undermined the convenience of ordering the set in the first place.

I am working on some summer projects well away from my studio and struggled finding someone who could lower the bridge and improve the action on the acoustic electric bass available. On a hunch, I bought a whole new guitar hoping the action was better and it is both perfect and adjustable. Easier to play than my full size guitars as the frets are closer together. Sounds great. Best bang for the buck beginner electric guitar but I think pros will like it too.Good quality for the price coming with decent amplifier. All I did is download a tuner via android app and adjusted it manually to be in tune.Very happy with these purchase
The thing is damn near unplayable due to the amount of buzzing and also a loud grating noise that I cannot seem to fix no matter what adjustments I make. I sent a refund request and after an initial response there's been nothing.

Had a little bow in the neck .To fix that when I'm not playing take all the tension off the strings
The guitars is one of the three major musical instruments in the world originated from Spain, which is divided into acoustic guitar and electric guitar, which have obvious differences. Ukulele is small exquisite and easy to carry, easier to learn and play.
