Overall, this bass serves its intended purpose. I was able to play it after a bit of adjustment right out of the box, the amp that it came with sounded decently enough, and overall it sounds pretty good.

Immediately out of the box, it was out of tune, though that is to be expected. After tuning, I noticed a lot of rattling of the strings on the frets. This required a lot of adjustment of the truss rod, which beginners might not be aware of and might be discouraged thinking it was on them.
Secondly, after playing and practicing for a while, the inner joint on my left index finger discovered that the frets are indeed quite sharp and protruding - enough to draw blood after a few slides.
Would I recommend this to a friend? Sure, though I would also bear in mind the caveats listed above and wouldn't necessarily recommend playing as-is without a little bit of work put into it.
I believe that this would've been a fantastic guitar for the money. I was skeptical because I wasnt sure about the quality. My problem was that on arrival the head of my bass had a small crack and when I contacted the company I received no email to help. Also another problem I have is that I think the 19th fret I slightly taller or shorter than the rest so when I attempt to play at higher ranges I get a bad sounding buzz even though I've set this bass up several times trying to fix the problem

I was pleasantly surprised with the guitar considering I paid $46 with delivery, love the matte finish neck feels good action very good from 1st to about 10 fret then higher but some tweaking it will be good.Dont expect Taylor quality but perfect for camp fires sitting on porch and not to worry about scratching it up highly recommend
I just received my Glarry GP Electric Bass today and I want to say that I love it! Very nice bass for the money. It needed a little set up, but plays well and looks good to boot. Very nice job Glarry! Keep up the good work! I look forward to getting another Glarry in the near future.
I just received it today and I love that it is so lightweight and nice sunset design. I had to adjust nuts, action and intonation because it's so way off. Electronics is extremely poorly design that the bridge volume pot is actually not working. I will be replacing/upgrading pickups with SD and changing all pots with CTS then it's a keeper!. Tuning pegs and bridge looks and feels solid.

Received it surprisingly fast considering we're in a pandemic. As for the guitar, I couldn't have been happier for the price. Very very small issues if any. The single pickup in the middle was misaligned (simple fix), the headstock had one tiny paint blemish. Other than those extremely small issues I very much enjoy this guitar. Thank you Glarry!

When you see something this inexpensive, you're instantly wary. The reviews convinced me to order it, and they were not wrong. This bass is fantastic! It's keeping us sane this spring.
Ok I ordered this guitar because it looked awesome and I was right. Came sooner than expected. Everything was in the package except for the whammy bar. But that was shipped out in a hurry. Light as can be and sounds great.l have already picked other guitars to order. Only problem was the fret edges were a little sharp but that has been addressed and no problem. Hell of a guitar
For the price the guitar is good if you know how to work on them. When mine arrived i was pleased by the looks but it has and still has a few issues but it is now playable. It seems like in different places, the binding is the only thing holding it together. I can see light thru the inside. The most notable defect is the bridge is not centered causing the high e string to set off of the fretboard. I ended up removing the nut and moving it to the low side making it play better. The most notable defect is the bridge is not centered causing the high e string to set off of the fretboard. I ended up removing the nut and moving it to the low side making it play better. I also had to re cut the nut a little. Now it is very playable but far from perfect. It sounds very good , even the bass side and it stays in tune well. I would only recommend someone buying one if they know how to do repairs or is willing to invest at least $100 to fix the issues. Maybe I just got a bad one but I am still fine with my purchase. There is not many places where you can get a full size acoustic that can be made playable for under $50 shipped. I also wish they would change the color of paint on the back and sides. Brown would look good but this comes almost orange. Of course it doesn't affect the playability but it makes it look cheap. A brown paint would make it look more expensive . So if you are willing to take a chance to invest time or money or both, this will be a fun guitar to own not having to worry if something happens to it. Thinking back tho, I did have to restring it because when initially tuning it up. the high e string broke but would recommend that anyway because the strings are probably the worst ever. Maybe i'll do a video review if I get time
(Not an expert on basses) Bought the sunset model on a whim, absolutely love this thing. I don't think it gets much better for the price.
Bridge pickup sounds absolutely fantastic, neck pickup isn't my favorite, but I'm not big on the neck pickups of J basses in general. When the tone control is cranked there's a noticeable hum.
The neck and fretboard are dry right out of the box, but they can be brought back to life with some linseed oil. Out of the box your action is going to be nice and low, but the B string took me some work to get right. Mostly messing with the saddle there.
This thing also just looks great, the finish was really good on mine, no dings or dirt under it. Color scheme is just a classic.
All in all, it's a really affordable, decent 5 string. I would recommend it if you're looking for a B string on a budget.
Just received this today. Plugged it in, tuned it, and it sounds great. The amp is just right since I live in an apartment. It's been many years since I've played but its coming back. Great value all around!
I like this guitar. Non playable as arrived but I expected to do a complete setup on it. Bad strings, cannot intonate low E, new strings coming. Will see if this fixed intonation error. I like the fully adjustable bridge. Minor mislocation of fret 14 by 0.012 inches but I think that won't affect playability.

I can't really write a review when I have not received my guitar. Due to the conditions of COVID-19, FedEx will NOT deliver my product. It's been taken hostage against its will at my local FedEx distribution center. Gave it 3 of 5 for now. Until I have had a chance to review it, then I'll change it.

Thanks so much for your review. Hope you will receive it sooner. Hope COVID-19 ends sooner. Glarry
Glarry's purpose with this guitar is really to put a guitar in your hands for as cheap as possible, which is nice, since you're not really paying for brand name or bells and whistles. And the build quality is actually pretty decent.

Con is, they're putting a guitar in your hand as cheap as possible, and after a while of playing you'll notice, some places like sound quality or intonation could be better and that 60/70 USD price shows and personally sometimes I keep accidentally hitting the pickup selector and moving it while playing. I don't know if that's just me, probably is but that's not here or there.
However overall it's a pretty decent guitar, not painful to play on doesn't feel cheap and it's only 60/70. It'd be good for someone who wants to try guitar but maybe not, or someone who wants a simple cheap product for some simple fun, Or parent who's looking at a guitar for their kid who doesn't want to drop a ton of money given they may get bored of it or other set ups are a bit pricey etc. It also seems kinda loud, I don't have a lot of electric guitar experience so maybe it's more normal than I'd think I'd personally prefer a quieter experience for later in the day/not bother others playing but I can see how a lot of people wouldn't care or be happy about it because they wouldn't absolutely need an amp saving them that money or able to spread out their spending a bit over time, because let's be honest, if you're looking at this guitar you're gonna be concerned about price.
The guitar came quickly but with no proction in the guitar box, and actually had a tear in the box. No outside box for extra protection, against the elements or thieves since the guitar box was very clearly marked GLARRY GUITAR. Neck was way bent which luckily the truss rod took care of. Everything else is more or less "normal" issues. Intonation needed to be set. The strings were out of tune when arrived, but nothing new. I just purchased my 3rd Glarry Electric guitar and once again amazing instrument for the price. In this occasion I want to also give customer service 5 stars. My latest shipment had some shipping or handling issues. Glarry quickly responded and help me resolve the matter in a timely fashion and no hassles. Great customer experience. Thank you again!!!
I am very surprised with this Glarry GJazz Bass Guitar. I wasn't expecting much for the price, but the guitar blew me away. Sounds excellent, neck is straight and smooth and excellent finish. No fret buzzing at all, and this is with all the original included components, no upgrades yet. My only complaint is the neck is very thick, if Glarry could get the neck down to jazz bass specs, that would be great. All in all, great bass for the beginner or the pro. Thank you Glarry!
Bought for a granddaughter (age 14) after she came over and played my fretless basses. I was pleased when I opened it that it came with bag. Nice sound and tone, so light compared to my ESP and Rickenbacker. Granddaughter was very pleased and happy.
Very happy with this guitar. Plays extremely well with just a few adjustments. I bought a set of D'Addario string to put on it, but I haven't even done that yet. Will probably replace the nut when I change strings but other than that I can't see doing anything else to it. Hold tune well, pickups sound good, nice job Glarry! Very happy
I am extremely impressed with this instrument. This is my seventh guitar, and it is now my favorite. Everything about it is excellent. It was playable right out of the box with simple tuning. Thanks for a great guitar and a fantastic price!
I received my order in 3 days . It is beautiful and plays great. Frets are a little sharp. The only problem was the whammy bar was not included. I emailed the company and I am waiting to hear from them. Other than that it is a great guitar

I have already wrote a quick review on February 20 that was posted, but Glarry asked that I write another one. This guitar is definitely worth the cost of about $50.00! Straight out of the box, there were a few dead strings (I replaced the entire set of strings), but other than that, it was pretty good. This makes the perfect beginner guitar or a good back-up for a pro or semi-pro player. I compared it to a Jasmine S341 (another lower-cost acoustic) and it had a much warmer tone. The guitar looks and plays great. I was very worried when it arrived because of the minimal packaging and expected to find some damage. But somehow it survived just fine.
I'm very happy with the guitar' s finish , quality of construction, and setup. I would not hesitate to buy another.
