Other than replacing the nut, this bass was awesome. This bass replaced my other bass as my main instrument when performing LIVE. I would like to get another one in the near future. Just a different color, maybe a black one. I would recommend this to anyone.
Great starter guitar. Sounds good. Would recommend this to a beginner or intermediate guitarist. The amp was good for starters. Good enough for practicing in your room.
Delivered damaged. I sent email to Glarry to find out what to do. Still waiting on a response. But this is the only time I have been disappointed with the shipping. I'm very happy with my other orders and looking forward to doing more business with Glarry. Thank you.
Service Team:
Sorry, FedEx messed up. I responded to you on 4.25, please check the email, we will give you a satisfactory solution.
Bass needed string height adjustment to eliminate fret buzz. Amp did not work. Opened back and found connector unplugged. Overall, satisfied with both for the price.
We were looking for a starter electric bass set for our son who has played upright bass at school. This is a perfect fit! It has everything we needed to get him started. Thanks, Glarry, for making music & learning so accessible.
So, here's the deal. For $119 did I get a solid sound bass that played well right out of the box? Absolutely. The bridge is off center by about 1/4". The knobs aren't aligned as pictures. The strings are off-center with the pickup pokes. But none of these things make the bass unplayable. If it was more expensive, I'd be requesting an exchange. In reality, I bought this bass to have a cheapie to practice setups on. So I'll swap out the bridge. The knobs are fine. And I'll be good to go. If you'r ...So, here's the deal. As a guitar player that never own a bass who just picked it up a few times at parties, I'd always wanted a bass to experiment with. I've had so much fun with the Glarry Jazz Bass so far. Both stays in tune, looks cool, action seemed fine to me right out of the box. As much as I'd wanted a bass and another instrument to play, never could justify spending 3 or 4 hundred bucks on a instrument that wasn't my main instrument, so for this price I've already had more that $100 worth of fun since I g ...As a guitar player that never own a bass who just picked it up a few times at parties, I'd always wanted a bass to experiment with. Furthermore, this is more for guitar players than specific to this bass....I think it improves your playing. It makes you stretch the fretboard because those easier to reach notes on the extra strings on the guitar are not there. But you'll be able to apply that to your playing. And any guitar player knows your tone can influence and inspire your playing---and the bass notes playing bass do just that. They make you want to get funky. And it also improves your rhythm, in some ways you are another percussion instrument, but able to play distinct notes.
One more note on the quality of the instrument... I think its so well built I plan to order one of the glarry Tele style guitars in the very near future.
I'm not an expert musician but have been off and on in music for a few years. This is my first bass ever and I have to tell you that I'm super happy with this product. The box came in the time you folks said it would with everything in it. The sound of the instrument it's right on and it does stay in tune too after a few small tweaks (nothing big) ". Great guitar like the look feel and the way it sounds only problem is one tone know broken pick guard cracked and body has a Crack also probably from shipping
Amazing bass for the money- I have Tobias growler and 2 jazz basses and this $79 bass surprised me I must say... After playing for 20 years I must say ... thank you.
Awesome guitar has amazing paint job especially for a budget guitar very happy with the product could use a little tlc to get the perfect sound but extremely satisfied over all
I received the guitar recently and the finish on it is excellent. I'm having a little difficulty keeping the guitar in tune, but a quick set up will probably resolve the issue. The guitar feels and plays well though. Great guitar for the money. My Granddaughter will be thrilled, as this will be her first electric. Great communication from your staff while the guitar was on back order. Thank you so much.
I spent hours possibly the whole day looking at reviews and I jumped in thinking there were going to be minor defects but at the same time really excited about getting both a bass and electric guitar for less than $170. I really wanted an acoustic guitar from glarry guitars as well but i had ordered a yamaha f335 instead. To my suprise Glarry had sent me my bass guitar practically the next day (during this crisis that's impressive). To my suprise Glarry had sent me my bass guitar practically the next day (during this crisis that's impressive). Even more surprising was everything was perfect the bass guitar was scratch free nothing was loose nothing broken or out of place no dents no bends this and that I guess those bad youtube reviews are from people who are used to playing on 100k gibson guitars. I mentioned the yamaha company because they are "supposed to be" pretty good brand and my guitar came in longer than expected which was expected but it had part of the wood on the body lifting and my glarry electric had arrived that same day as well and It too was in perfect condition just like my bass guitar and i couldn't help but think this company is even better than yamaha it delivers on time has great products and I have yet to see anything wrong with this company i highly recommend you buy from them. I've told my friends to buy as well you can't beat their prices and quality. Their slogan needs to be "I don't know how they do it". Thank you glarry guitars for making guitars great again.
I watched a few of the videos from glarry.com to see how it stacked up before buying. This is my 2nd Burning Fire purchase - first was the 4 string bass. I'm impressed with the fit, finish and overall quality of these instruments for the price. With very little adjustments I have my latest Glarry guitar sounding great. I might add some better strings, but seriously, for the price range, out of the box this guitar rocks! Only problem I have is which one to buy next.
The bass guitar is very nice indeed! A little neck heavy, but on the plus side, it will never warp or bend. The strings are the perfect height from the fret board, making it easy to play. The enclosed amplifier didn't work, but Glarry immediately refunded a satisfactory amount of the purchase price. This is a great entry level bass guitar, and fits that need just fine. I highly recommend for the purpose of learning to play.
Well the whammy bar did not screw in can't use it but everything else is fun looking forward to getting my Sunburst Telecaster Style thank you Harold not too much into whammy bars anyway
Is it the nicest bass I've ever owned? Nope...but is it a great bass for less than $100? Absolutely! Great value for the price and perfect for my girlfriend and daughter to plunk around on and learn!
i bought this case for a nice little jazz bass i had purchased a few months prior, and which i had been keeping in the fairly decent gig bag that came with it. feeling it deserved something nicer, but knowing the likelihood of it ever leaving the house was very slim, i just needed a relatively well made but not terribly pricey basic model. then I saw this case, and thought, dang, i've never found a glarry item i didn't love, so i snapped up this bargain.

bingo! you guys did it again!! it's a snug fit, which is great, there's enough room for what needs to go inside, and i needn't worry about my bass being injured by an accidental bump or slip. pretty good deal for just $60!
I love this guitar ...it's incredible. The Guitar snobs will hate this ...it feels great, plays great, the neck is great ,,can't say that for my Epiphones ..I wish the snobs would get over it ...the big guys are robbing us blind ..I mean really how can a guitar cost more than a used car ..you guys rock so keep it up ..I tell every one how awesome u are
The guitars is one of the three major musical instruments in the world originated from Spain, which is divided into acoustic guitar and electric guitar, which have obvious differences. Ukulele is small exquisite and easy to carry, easier to learn and play.
