Arrived near playable with some fretwork. Very playable neck. Sealed the open pore finish with 2 coats of past wax and buffed, came out very nice.
Perfect travel bass. Round wound strings and the dual picups great tonal range bright to mellow.
Tightened tuner posts to help hold tuner drifting.
Intonation not very close across all strings/bridge easily adjustable/typical Fender style good weight. Control cavity not sheilded but quiet/scaled pots.
Overall first impression very playable/well made. ...

Bought for my son for his band class and it's holding up well. Needed to be tuned as all new instruments do, but the guitar itself is great for beginners. I suggest purchasing a new carrying bag, the zipper on the one provided broke the second week of school and it progressively got worse and just kept falling apart.

I can't say enough good things about this guitar and it's price. It's a beautiful design/color and also has great sound. My wife is an actual musician who is also really impressed with this overall package. I bought it to test the waters and see if I would enjoy playing and now I can't stop looking at new bass guitars to get my hands on. I'm really enjoying this guitar and it was worth the investment.

I purchased a Glarry 4 string bass with the 15w practice amplifier. We are starting a youth praise band at our church and needed an instrument for someone who is learning how to play. My order shipped within 24 hours and arrived in less than a week. I was impressed with the quality, communication and response. Very pleased.

As soon as they announced the 6 string Bass I bought 1 of each color..they arrived perfectly....I love the feel and finish....mu ONLY issue was the very low output, I have several Large :Vintage Rigs : and found myself turning way up to geta desired sound. I have no complaints about the bass. With a little bit of a setup (which is to be expected) the guitar is comfortable and plays great. And it was delivered in two days. The one recommendation I would make is to change the strings.

The bass itself feels good for the price that's being sold. Perfect bass for a beginner although there were some weird scratches on the neck and i think someone messed up the Dots on the neck and tried to fix it but thankfully it's not noticeable from far but noticeable when you have it on you. Great product but with a minor defect.

After using this bass for several months, playing it 5 days per week I can tell you that I was impressed but... The only problem I've had is with the strap pegs. They would become loose and wobbly. It started with the upper then the lower. It got so bad that I had to stop playing it with the strap.

I was very impressed with my new Glarry bass...the quality and workmanship was perfect...it was fast and easy it only took a few days to reach my home....

It's a very good instrument for a beginner, with just a few little points knocking off that 5th star:
The body is quite light while the neck and head contribute a significan heft, which does cause some awkward handling that can get uncomfortable after a while
In addition, the pick-ups are quite short which can make then difficult to rest your thumb on
Otherwise, I'm very impressed with what I recieved for the pricepoint

I love this bass. Its light, stays in tune and sounds good. Its comfortable and really fun to play. I'm so impressed by this one I'm looking to try the four string jazz next. I think my expectations were very low considering the price but i was blown away . On the other hand I've bought more expense name brand basses and they never lived up to the hype or reached my expectations.

i have purchased at least 5 prior Glarry instruments so I knew to expect a good value for a good instrument. This updated 6 string bass is no exception. They have added active electronics and upgraded pickups without increasing the price. Instrument plays great out of the box with minimal setup. I am extremely satisfied with this instrument. Wasn't sure what to expect from a 139 6 string bass but i honestly am impressed so great out of the box preamp is ok and strings are relatively bright i definitely will be restringing and possibly switching out preamp but overall this bass feels good and plays good I'd definitely gig with this one will be buying another one and getting a 5 string version

When I saw the specs on this bass, I had to buy it, I am glad I did. It has great tone, especially for such a small scale. Once I did a setup on it (file the nut, adjust the bridge, adjust the truss rod, and dressed the fret ends), It plays like butter. There was a little too much hum from the pickups, but once I shielded the cavity on the back, it's dead silent. The Mahogany body, Maple neck, and Rosewood fretboard make for a great bass. Lets see, I was waiting awhile before I added a review. Was looking for a inexpensive fretless bass for a while, played a buddy's like 30 yrs ago, liked it. I wanted to get into playing bass but didn't want to invest in something expensive. After watching a lot of reviews on Glarry basses and guitars and went ahead and pulled the trigger. It shipped fairly quickly and everything was well packaged. I did have a hole in the box but the entire bass is in foam so there was no damage to it. The quality seems good for what you pay for. Only time will tell how well these hold up. It's hard to pass on a value like this.

This a professional quality instrument, not a toy. Don't be fooled by the price. This isn't a toy or cheaply made instrument. I recoded with it right out of the box and it a professional quality, wonderful sounding, easily played, and responsive instrument that is set up nicely with no issues. I like the fact it doesn't way a ton and it has a beautiful natural finish I probably will upgrade the nut to a graphite one sometime but that's all the mods it needs and that's just a personal preferenc ...

Bass guitars are very easy to get started, most people can master the basics and start playing right away, but learning best bass guitars can also be very advanced, because it is an easy-to-use instrument that can be almost as infinite as possible. The right quality of the correct tuning and playing bass guitar and the richness of the rich tones are truly fascinating. Being a bass guitar player and being able to create such a sound yourself is still a much more exciting.
