This makes Glarry #5 for me. I think they are very good for the price. They sometimes have minor imperfections and need a good set-up but you end up with a playable , decent looking guitar. Some people spend more, (sometimes MUCH more) for one guitar , than I have invested in all 5 of these. Only way a poor guy like me could have this many guitars to play with.

Ok let me start by saying I know nothing about guitars. From what I can tell everything is included w instructions on how to assemble.
My intention was to create a custom one off paint job as an art piece so having a low priced guitar was fine & I love the shape of this. It should go well with the Heavy Metal theme Im planning.
At the last minute a friend advised me to get some better hardware so Ill be replacing some of the included hardware with higher end gear.

This will be given away after its been painted and built. Ill post a video of the finished product.
So far Im amped.
This was a nice kit to assemble. I'm glad I had a professional builder to help me though. It goes together as easy as advertised. I had to do all of the tuning to get it to sound great. That is where an experienced builder comes in. It would be worth spending money on having a shop set it up after you build it.
"The assembly went well. Although, If you've never put a guitar together before and are absolutely a newbie and have no idea what your doing then you might want to watch a few YouTube videos or the video provided by the seller. It came with instructions but they wouldn't be helpful if you don't know what to do.

They strings kinda suck and the d string (3rd string down) broke when we was installing them. Overall it was great though. I'll be buying another one just like it on my next payday. Thanks guys."
Awesome for the price, just got done staining the guitar gona put a nice coat of polyurethane to make it look perfect then gona slap some EMG 81-85's in it and this this should scream!! Great buy even if you was to use the pickups and hardware that comes with it. I'll definitely buy more!!!
I purchased this guitar kit and I am extremely happy! This kit provides everything I need to assemble my own electric guitar, allowing me to create my unique instrument - it's simply fantastic!
Sweet! All the parts and components of this kit fit great and went together fast...the set up to make it easy and fun to play took a bit longer. I had built a strat diy kit before; this is a great way to learn the mechanics of a guitar. I will buy another when they go on sale.
I love the guitar kits by this company, great for beginners. the most important things to keep in mind while building is 1. Make sure to use the video as a resource for instructions, and 2. make sure to adjust the bridge. It sounds decent and looks great with just wood or if you decide to customize it.
The 170 is my 5th Glarry Guitar I have the GIB 4 string Bass, The GTL Maple Fretboard, The GST-E Lightning Style and a Burning Fire, All are good well Built with nice finishes. They all have a great sound to them. However, my new 170 has a problem with the neck. The distance from the Big E string to the end of the fret is almost nonexistent and when I play bar cords the E string will try to roll of the fretboard. I don't think this is something I can Fix, other than replace the Neck. This Guitar was my 3rd Glarry Guitar. It's a Good Guitar was set up well from day one. The Action is good and the sound I get from it is Great. Only change I made to this one is changed the Strings to D'Addarios EXL 120 42-9 Fun Guitar to Play.
The action is on so that I was pleased right away. No need to adjust anything as the intonation is on as well. After tuning and breaking in the stock strings I was enthralled at the playability of this inexpensive strat style guitar. I played in clean mode with the neck pick up and I found inspiration that comes with guitars costing 5 times more than this. Shipping was fast as well. I am a happy Glarry customer. Thank you!! *Updated Modification *The Action-Playability is righteous!!
I absolutely love the craftsmanship and the style of this guitar. The sounds is amazing but the strings are tough but I have small fingers so it might be a personal problem but i love my guitar. Rock n roll princess coming soon
The only thing I needed to touch was a small adjustment to intonation. Everything else was fine right out of the box. No fret sprout, excellent action and everything works as it is intended to. For an instrument in this price range I am very impressed with the performance and the quality of it. Thank you boys at Glarry for a job well done. John Velez, happy camper
Im very surprised at the quality and playability of this guitar!! Not only was it set just about perfect it also has perfect intonation across the whole fretboard! The finish on the body is beautiful however the neck is a little rough as it still has sanding marks left over but over all a great deal for the price!! Will buy another Glarry product again! Not to mention i like the Glarry over my squire classic vibe!
I ordered it on May 1st, 2024. It is now delivered May 4th. You guys are continually impressing me. I have to go get it, do the run through. Play it fresh from the factory stock. I have to now add up all my Glarrys!! In the mean time here is another picture from my last order:
Years ago My son took guitar lessons and now has retaking an intrest again on his own, and has been sitting in his room learning songs on a acoustic guitar, so this new Electric guitar I got from Glarry's made him extremely happy it looks great sounds great and the price was phenomenal. Definitely coming back to Glarry for all of our musical needs.
Got this for my little sister who wants to learn.. It looks amazing in person and is a great size for 12-14 year olds. For the price especially, it is really great.
I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. I still can't believe what I got here. Yes, it needed a little intonation adjustment and there's more things I can do to it to improve further, but there's no rush. I'm having so much fun with it already. And It looks flawlessly beautiful. I think their QC is going up because some older reviews said they had more issues. I do also own a couple of stratocasters. One of them is a custom shop. But I had an itch for a telly and this is quenching it fine. ...I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. I still can't believe what I got here. I had more to note good right out of the box. I had to clean the Fretboard, polish the frets just a little. I adjusted just the height of the saddles a tad. I put new strings on it and also put roller string guides. No fret buzz, neck and action is fantastic. I'm happy already. I did plan on putting a white pearloid pickguard along with black pickups and same knobs, etc. I may find some black aftermarket humbuckers for the neck and bridge. Let me start by saying that you can't expect to much fit and finish from such an inexpensive guitar. Having said that, I do have some issues. The neck is quite raw and "sandy", which I think will require my attention. There is some fret buzz up and down the neck, but a setup will remedy that, along with the sharp edges on the frets. They were not sanded down at all. There is also a very noticeable bridge buzz. But probably not unexpected. I figured that I would likely have to replace that. It did play ok right out of the box after a tune. The tuning pegs are cheap and will likely need replacement. I will do all of this when I take the guitar apart and mod it up. But for an $89 guitar, it's fine. It will be much more playable after I mod it. I will say that the finish on the body is pretty nice, and the electrics seem to work fine.
