Nice inexpensive Microscale bass. Neck is satin and smooth. No fret ends poking out. Body is lightly finished with no grain filler or very little. A little rough to the touch. Plays fine out of the box and tuned up. For $100 great for a beginner, little kid or person with smaller hands or stature. It's great for the price. However, keep in mind that it comes unadjusted, so it's hard to tune at first. I had to spend some minutes trying to get it done.

First off, it is really small, about electric guitar size. It is exactly what I needed. I have a hand condition that limits my mobility & couldn't manage a full size bass. The bass is really nice looking and comfortable to play. I had to do a complete setup on it (truss rod adjustment, string height, intonation) and fix a non working tone pot (a wayward piece of solder shorting between two terminals on the pot) but after getting it set up this little bass kicks ass. I just got this Bass Wednesday/Yesterday. I bought this exact model 3 years ago and learned on that bass. Playing hours out of the day. You can definitely learn and gig with this bass. Most importantly the GP1 PRECISION BASS I bought 3 years was and is excellent but Glarry really made some improvements on this bass. This bass is not just for kids. If you like short scale basses and/or want a nice travel instrument this is for you. It's also really nice for recording and practicing in front of the computer.
My bass had a minor problem and Glarry customer service took care of it right away. They have great communication and really do what it takes to satisfy the customer.

The Bass arrived in perfect condition and was packaged very nicely, which is an improvement over some of the guitars I've purchased from Glarry. The setup was a pretty good and honestly for a Bass at this price point it was exceptional. The action was a little high which I understand because it's better to avoid fret buzz, and some folks like it that way. The intonation was only slightly off and the neck relief was perfect. I'm giving this bass a 5 star rating based on the cost and quality, not because I think it is superior to something else. It's simply worth the money in this category of instruments. I have guitars that cost 5 times as much as this, so it's not about the cost. Even those require a little setup and adjustments for personal requirements. Very happy with this bass. I have been a professional bass player for 40+ years. I needed this style of bass. This bass does what it is supposed to, it sounds like an old vintage Pbass. Perfect for my up-and-coming recording sessions. Thank you Glarry, for a well-made bass guitar at a great value. Plus, the high gloss white body looks amazing. Highly recommend this bass for beginners, and it is a great axe for the seasoned musician to customize or play as it is.

Beautiful, upgraded version of the Burning Fire original bass! The included amplifier is suitable for low volume practice. I gifted it to a young beginning bass player who needed an amplifier. He was thrilled! Thanks Glarry!

I'm giving it a 5*. Let's be real. It's a beginners Bass. I found the keys to be decent in sensitivity and the hold their place. The strings are bulk and the action will improve if you get better ones. The volume and tone knobs are responsive. The bridge has good adjustments for fine tuning and Bass buzz elimination. It does not play bad at all.

It is hard to find an affordable Bass guitar, so this is very good for its features and price. It is a very good guitar for a person just trying out the Bass. Mine had some upgrades with good pickups, strings, and a bone nut. I applied light lube to the tuners since heavier bass strings put more pressure on the gears. Writing this on Christmas day and it was a hit. I have played bass for decades and made one. I've read about hums, but I did not notice any difference from any other Jazz bass. As such, there is a little hum when one is not playing. Electronics are nice. Bridge is nice but not adjusted at all. I will use a screw driver and YouTube later. Frets are nice. Real truss rod. Because this is such a real instrument, it could conceivably be to heavy for you child. We like it.

Ordered this for Christmas for my daughter , it came extremely fast!! Within 2 days of ordering!! Although the recipient hasn't gotten it yet we did open it to look at it. It came very well packaged and everything was tucked neatly in the box. We took the guitar out to look at it and it is beautiful. Perfect for a beginner bass player. I am sure she is going to love it. You cannot beat the price either, for such an affordable guitar it did not feel cheap at all!!

You have to realize that this is an inexpensive bass and comes with low end strings and tuners. That said, the bass arrived in quite good shape. I was not familiar with setting up a bass but was smart enough to realize it needed a little work. A little YouTube University and online articles showed me what to look for and how to correct any found issues. I adjusted the neck and set the intonation. The bass now plays and stays in tune. Playing a electric bass guitar is easy to learn, but it's hard to master, it all depends on where you want to match. Bass guitars are very easy to get started, most people can master the basics and start playing right away, but learning best bass guitars can also be very advanced, because it is an easy-to-use instrument that can be almost as infinite as possible. The right quality of the correct tuning and playing bass guitar and the richness of the rich tones are truly fascinating. Being a bass guitar player and being able to create such a sound yourself is still a much more exciting.
