I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this inexpensive fretless bass. Delivered in about a week, adequately packaged, good playability right out of the box, light weight body finished nicely. I changed the strings to flat wounds and lowered the action a bit and am enjoying playing this bass. I really don't think I'd bother to modify it at all at this point. Great instrument for the price!
I recently received my Glarry GIB 6-string bass and am very happy with it.
I play 5-string and have been wanting to try 6 for a while, but my currently limited budget has prevented this. When the GIB 6 was announced, I did not think long before ordering.

Dual truss rod is a nice feature at this price, and the neck has taken a nice, flat setup with no issues.
No conplaints here, only positives.
I'm one of those "Reviewers" that only pipes up when I find something GOOD, or something BAD....
I'm pretty impressed with this bass.... I own Ibanez bases, Schecter Bases and one Fender Jazz....
I purchased THIS bass to try my hand at a 5 string figuring "OK, It;s JUST a training instrument" I paid $108 for it and figued if it didnt work out, it would give me something to smash on stage during a show....

VERY impressd with this right out of the box (Mind you, for the priece). Most important things when you order a bass on line is the action and sound. This thing played like a very expensive bass out of the box. it's got a great growl and the neck needed no work... FANTASTIC beginner guitar!!! Kudos!
I watched Ellen play a Glarry and she liked it. I already have the Glarry fretless bass so i tried one more. Nice inexpensive bass. Be realistic. It was less than lunch in my area. Nice job!
I really like this short scale bass, and I'm very glad I bought it. The only problem it had was the output level being VERY VERY low compared to my Glarry GIB 4 and 5 string basses. I got a Musiclily hot rails pickup to replace the original pickup and now it's a perfect instrument. I hope Glarry will re-evaluate their pickup choice for this model.
The price is great for a begginer bass, it includes everything you need. If you are more professional and want something fancier this isn't for you, but this is great if you are a beginner.
Bass guitar is great, the only thing my son wasn't satisfied with was the sound of the Amp. We will be shopping around for a bigger and louder Amp. Thanks for all the help.
For the price, you can't ask for a whole lot more. The amp isn't perfect for a bass and mine came without lower pickups, for which I was offered the FAQ page and a $10 credit. But it's super affordable and a decent guitar, I can't wait to hear her with the pickups where they belong.
Love my bass and the punctual timing it arrived. Ordered Friday, received it 7 days later as said, well 8 came Saturday morning. Great price! Great beginner bass for me!
Thank You Glarry Music! I'll be back
Great value for what u get, sounds great, looks even better, comfortable to play using a strap or sitting down. Definitely impressed for what you pay for!
I purchased this base so,when my son visits me, he has something to play w/out bringing his base or amp. My son loved it. Thinks it is more than adequate and the amp sounds good. When I told him what I paid, he was blown away. So, thumbs up. I don't play the base, but I might start. Cheers
very good product did have a minor issue but did get a refund, sounds awesome, color on the website was a little more yellow but in person it is more orange witch i actually like more. but its a great product sounds awesome.
I loved this instrument. I think it is as good or better than the Fender Squire Bronco which it copies. It came nicely packaged with no damage. Neck and frets were smooth with no rough edges. Volume and tone controls worked well and the sound of the pickup was mellow. The short scale was perfect for my hands. But, I decided to return this instrument, not because of any lack of quality, but because I'm not really a bass player. Like most guitarists, I loved the bass also, but must admit that it wouldn't have much practical use in my guitar "arsenal" and would probably just sit around unused. A bit of arthritis in the clamping hand added to my decision. Nevertheless, if you've been thinking about a shorter scale bass, I would strongly encourage you to buy this one. It's about 100 dollars cheaper than its Fender counterpart and every bit the equal in quality. Let me stress again, I didn't return this item because of lack of quality. If you're looking for a nice Fender styled/sounding short scale bass, you will be pleased with this bass.
Nice guitar for the money! The components are good quality, it holds a tuning, has decent pickups and nice build quality. The accessories that came with it are not so great.
great kit for beginners, only problem is the fret buzz is TERRIBLE

Pretty honest instrument at the price point! I'm a working drummer getting into bass so after a couple of months learning on my fretted jazz bass, I wanted to try a fretless mostly because I love the tone it produces. The lack of lines or guides in the fingerboard cans be challenging, but if you're used to a fretted one and have good ears, you'll overcome it real quick.

The intonation and action right out of the box was perfect! Much better than my Indo Squier that took me days to put the neck straight, and it keeps on bending in the Florida crazy moisture and heat. The Glarry bass neck keeps straight as an arrow, with very little relief as it's my personal preference.
I feel that I'm gonna need a new nut because it's hard to get the notes on the first "fret" position. Other than that, no modifications needed so far. It holds the tune very well, although I feel the tuning machines are weak to the pressure. Time will tell. I had a small problem with electronics on mine. Out of the box, it didn't make any sound. No output at all. Tried different cables, amps and nothing. Glarry customer service worked to solve the problem and I sent the bass to a repair shop after they refunded me the amount needed to get it done. I really appreciate the way this company make business and certainly will buy other products in the near future.
As others mentioned, get yourself a tuner, erase the white dots on side of the neck and write new ones. I'm having a lot of fun with this bass!

P.S: I used vinyl adhesive to change the pickguard look. Pretty easy job and I didn't need to buy a new one.
WOW ! ITS SMALL............Well made little bass. After adjusting, it played great. Perfect travel instrument and small areas, Perfect Kids bass. Only Dislike is for strings this is not long scale or short scale. It is guitar scale, just a warning if you get better strings. Love the Bass. THANK YOU
Tracking number never populated with any info, contacted customer service after a week , was told to just wait a few days. never received order. I realize things happen, just be upfront and transparent, but getting the run around is never good. therefore I cannot review the product since I never received, but based on the costumer service experience I can not give a high rating.

Anything I type becomes gushing about this bass, so I will just break it down without going over the top. I am not a pro, just a dude with other bass guitars of various quality.
1. Packaging was solid foam inside cardboard. The bass and amp were unmarked and undisturbed.
2. The bass body is ultralight, so there is neck dive. Visually, it is a work of art.

3. Tuning only and playing with the stock strings resulted in bright sounds coming in strong and bass pretty weak. Once the pickup and string height were both adjusted, it sounded much better. Absolute zero buzz at any configuration of the bass controls.
4. The "20 watt" amp does not put out much bass. I have had a 15 watt Behringer thunderbird that could drown this thing easily at less than 1/2 volume. The amp sounds clear and seems to register the high notes really well, it's just really lacking in the low end. My only guess is the cabinet is too small for the speaker to be effective.
5. Strap is light and small, but will work in a pinch. All other accessories work properly. I'm not a big pick guy so I can't judge.
6. I had some questions for Glarry and they responded quick and professionally via email.
7. The closest comparison for the overall sound of this bass is the song "Holiday in Cambodia" by the Dead Kennedys.
This bass is perfect for beginners. It is fun, easy to handle, and sounds good. It is worth every penny. I plan to purchase more models in the future.
Learning bass guitars do make you stand out from the crowd. The lead guitar usually expresses the face and sound of the band with an exaggerated feel, but behind it is a bass guitar that brings vitality to the same band. The bass player usually calmly performs his own performance, making the entire band's energetic heartbeat continue to beat.
Playing a electric bass guitar is easy to learn, but it's hard to master, it all depends on where you want to match. Bass guitars are very easy to get started, most people can master the basics and start playing right away, but learning best bass guitars can also be very advanced, because it is an easy-to-use instrument that can be almost as infinite as possible. The right quality of the correct tuning and playing bass guitar and the richness of the rich tones are truly fascinating. Being a bass guitar player and being able to create such a sound yourself is still a much more exciting.
