The strings and the cable are the only two things that really need to be replaced the cable gives alot of buzz and feed back and the strings bend when not tuned but after those small replacements it plays fine I would recommend not buying a 10W amp and just investing a little more money and atleast getting a 20W practice just so you can get close to a more "authentic" sound. With all that being said it's an amazing price for a instrument that plays and looks good while doing it. the jack input on my guitar was loose so I tightened it that was really the only issue overall I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase and don't think there's a better deal out there this is probably your best bet for a affordable electric guitar. TLDR: You're gonna have to buy a Good amp New strings a Better strap New Cable and Tighten/Loosen also level a few things to get a overall decent sounding Guitar but in my opinion it's worth it. Don't buy for your young kids.

Put some D'Addario on it and changed the whole experience. The finish is really nice for a $99 guitar also. I also had to adjust the intonation and bridge. Those adjustments made this guitar even better sounding. Then I did a little fret leveling (out of the box they weren't off by much) and this made a big difference too. Got full size recently and I was impressed.For the money it is incredible.The construction of the guitar and the finish was great.I didn't even have to change the strings.I definitely recommend this as a starter for anyone wanting to play guitar.
Don't know what happened to my first review on this guitar, so here is another review: This is my second Glarry so the brand works for me. Leveled the frets, still have the original strings on it, sounds good, one more leveling and fret polishing round and the guitar will play as good as anything else I own. Tuners and bridge work well and hold the tune decently. No flaws in the black paint and the shipping time was top notch. Satisfied customer.

Update on my damaged guitar I received, Lin from Glarry solved the problem promptly and I'm very satisfied with the out come. They said they would fix the problem with quality control. I will make more purchases in the future , hopefully with no problems. I would give Lin from Glarry Music five stars for her great customer service!
CAME WITH THE USUAL BUSTED UP GLARRY BOX.....HOWEVER THIS TIME IT HAD SOME STRYFOAM BLOCKS IN THE BOX TO HELP WITH PROTECTION.....NOT ONE SCRATCH OR DING, THE COLOR AND CONDITION ARE GREAT....JUST TUNED IT AND IT PLAYS GREAT RITE OUT OF THE BOX.....B
These guitars come quickly, so if they are a gift keep an eye out in case you need to hide it.
My grandson saw the box and knew what was in it because he had shown me the website a couple of nights before and we had looked at guitars together.
I was so excited about the value that I bought it right away.
The ONLY reason this didn't get 5/5 stars is because it had a TINY imperfection in the paint, an almost literal fingernail shaving missed spot that was finished over with the clear coating. There were some spots on the back of the neck that looked unfinished, and it needed some good tweaks to get the action and intonation right, but that was only disappointing because the Glarry Telecaster that I bought was so perfect right out of the box. Played the mess out of it today though! For less that $90 shipped to my house, it is a great value! I feel confident that after a good set-up, it will be a very excellent performing guitar! People years ago would have loved to have had an instrument of this quality for this reasonable of a price. The tuners are smoothand consistent. the switches and pots are positive and smooth. The only things that are not going to work are the nut and the tuners. But I could live with both if I had to. The tone is Sweet. Played well straight out of the box. After a new nuit and tuners, this will be my go-to guitar.

Asked customer service if i could exchange it for ANY strat SKU - ANY COLOR ANY STRAT STYLE that came closer to their declared weight. They would only have to weigh it at the distribution center. Glarry cust. support cannot even ...SO FRUSTRATED w Glarry customer support!

The customer service manager (Lin) contacted me and gave me a VERY fair offer. I am impressed with the recovery and will absolutely do business with this company again. GO GLARRY!!
Very disappointed. Only fair build quality and no setup whatsoever. I'm an advanced player so I could do my own set up. A beginner would have been hopelessly frustrated with even getting in tune.
Worse yet the strings were corroded. Filthy dirty and the ends seized in the tremolo block. I had to force them out to restring it.

Great size, great sound. Solid and sturdy guitar- definitely not just for kids. I needed something smaller for portability and storage reasons, and this guitar looks and sounds great
I absolutely loved it! The action was already perfect straight out of the box!!! Once I tuned and stretched the strings a little, I barely put it down until I had to go to bed. Thanks for making such a good and affordable product Glarry! I already added a hanger on the wall for it with my others!
It was exactly as I expected. The neck was smooth, frets were not sharp, the action was decent and easy to adjust, the guitar tuned up in a minute or two, and held tune pretty well. Overall I would say in its price range you are getting everything you could ask for. I am not going to say it's the best guitar ever made, but it's far from department store junk. The included "gig bag" is more of a dust cover than anything else but considering it's free it will do the job until you have a chance to ...It was exactly as I expected. Simply amazed at the fit, finish, overall quality, playability and sound of this GTL tele-style guitar from Glarry Music. Added a set of d'Addario strings and I cannot tell the difference between this and the made-in-Mexico Fender Telecaster I had some years ago. Shipping was prompt and the axe was set up perfectly.
