I was blown away by this purchase. The bass is lightweight as expected and the neck has a thinner profile than the traditional "Glarry neck." I have not taken the time to fully set it up yet but it is beautiful. The Fret work is good right out of the box. No sharp edges and the bass is playable. The strings are good quality as well.
This thing is awesome.. I switch the strings up and took them off and and put a high c on there I had to adjust the neck a little bit because of the different strings but other than that man all good stays in tune
Very happy with this purchase, as I'm just starting to learn how to play. It looks great and it plays well enough for me at this beginner level! Even my friends who are seasoned bass players are impressed with it, considering the price. I would definitely recommend this to a beginner or someone looking for a cheap practice bass.
The Bass guitar still needs to be set up a little better, but out of the box, the bass is still playable (a little buzz). Beautiful Bass Guitar. The little amp included is a great practice amp, especially if you have little space or just need one to travel well (wouldn't do well for a performance unless a very small intimate acoustic set in a pinch). Overall very satisfied with this combo setup. Thankful we found Glarry. Would definitely buy again. I'm very unsatisfied.I just received my new bass and the E string tuner is stripped right out of the box. It just clicks and doesn't tune the string.

I contacted Glarry and they immediately rectified the situation. I'm very pleased with their customer service and they care that their customers are happy
My Daughter loves this guitar. Great quality for a beginner. Super fast delivery. Very happy with our purchase and will share our experience with friends to purchase from here!
I could not be happier with this guitar package! I'm a beginner and this was a perfect find and fit for me. This bass sounds fantastic and the 20w amplifier is just loud enough to start this musical journey. Some friends have questioned me on where and how I got this deal due to the fact I've bragged about the price, quality, and free shipping. I enjoy watching the expressions change as they look at the $800 and up gear they have purchased in the past. Again, I am beyond satisfied with my purchase of the black Burning Fire Electric Bass and amp!!!
Quite a good value for the price. I copper tape insulated the control cavity and pickup wells to tame the buzzing. Worked very well. I tightened the truss rod, shimmed the neck and it intonated just fine. I played this with a fairly loud drummer through a Rumble 40 for an amped acoustic trio. Pickups are hot enough, amp volume was at around 12-1 O'Clock. It's a beautiful bass too. When I pulled the input jack out to copper insulate the ground wire fell off, no big deal, just soldered it back. I ...Quite a good value for the price. I hope to also covert this to a headless bass.
I wasnt really in the market for a new bass, but when I saw these I changed my mind. It arrived right on time and in perfect condition. The white finish is beautiful and flawless, and the maple fretboard looks killer! The inlays on the fretboard are perfectly done and the fret ends are nicely done!
I did have to do a bit of setup, but after 5 days travel to Illinois, that is to be expected. Minor adjustments only, though and the intonation was almost spot on!The neck also seems to be a bit thin ...I wasnt really in the market for a new bass, but when I saw these I changed my mind. The only negative here is unfortunately the pickup. Its probable that I just got a bad set, because all the other Glarry basses I have (6 in all) have good pickups. These set very low in the body and were far from the strings, so not much output. The foam on the back is not nearly thick enough, so I reinstalled the pick you p with some springs I had. This raised the height more than enough, but the output is still kinda weak, especially on the A and E strings. That's ok, because I've been eyeing some of the offerings from GFS, so it gives me an excuse to try one out!
All in all, I'm pretty happy. I think Glarry has another winner here!
I had to chip out some of the headstock in order to get the wrench in to adjust the truss rod and now I can no longer adjust the truss rod because a metal sleeve has shifted blocking where the wrench goes. Body is also incredibly light and the neck is very heavy so the neck dive is horrible. Tuners are also very stiff and the nut has a bunch of black gooey glue or something all over it. There was also a lot of fret sprout and the frets are rough and unpolished. The bass had several functional issues when it arrived but their customer service team were quick to provide a partial refund to smooth things over.
So 4 out of 5. My reason is because I had to adjust the neck and bridge to eliminate some ringing on a couple frets including 1sr fret F and low C. Other than that for the price, quality, sound, packaging, body and all is good. This also is good if you are wanting to try a 5 string bass without breaking the bank. Its not for everyone but yes I would buy this again. Considering the 5 string jazz down the road.
Just received gp bass, white with maple fretboard / black block inlays and no pickguard today. Very light, plays great, rich bass, snappy highs and no sharp fret ends. pleasantly surprised. One of the sharpest looking basses I've seen and easily worth a higher price. I've played professionally for over 30 years and own several more expensive basses and am very happy with this purchase.
I bought to learn Bass Guitar, I'm learning at an awesome rate on this Bass.
My instructor said it's weight is perfect, not too heavy. He's a Speed Metal player. That's what I'm learning.
I'm influenced by Grindcore and Death Metal. The design of this Bass Guitar fits with dark and creepy vibe.
Keep up the great work, Glarry!
Over the years I had considered obtaining a Fretless Bass. I enjoy the sound qualities they produce in Music. I found the Glarry Fretless P-style Bass and ordered it. I love the sounds it produces and the overall quality is wonderful. The only down side is the exceptionally light weight of the body wood (I believe it might be Paulownia ... not Basswood as listed in the Specs) making it a bit neck heavy. Even with that I can easily compensate for it while playing by resting my forearm more on the lower bout. I've recorded a couple of tunes with it and would recommend it to anyone thinking about giving the Fretless Bass a try. Here is my YouTube Unboxing Video...https://youtu.be/jA5LYHuxDP0
Guitar arrived just fine in standard shipping box. No damage. Glarry uses really cheesy film to protect the pick guard and it is hard to pick off all the nooks and crannies. Pick guard themselves are garbage: They are made of a super soft plastic than can be gouged with just a fingernail. Finish was fine. I did not detect any cosmetic issues.

These guitars do not come set up (it is a budget axe). The neck was WAY out of adjustment. I don't think I've ever had to turn the truss rod nut that many times...almost to cracking. For a fretless, the strings are wrong. Be ready to install some flats. I went with some tape wounds and the sound became much better.
The pickups are ok, no complaints. The rest of the electronics are fine. I do not hear any buzz and the pots seem to be slightly loose, but not a deal breaker.
The fingerboard is excellent. After a good set up, the guitar really sounds nice for a practice rig. There are fret dots on the edge, but it is a good challenge not having fret lines. Let your muscle memory work for you!
All in all, I am happy with the purchase. You absolutely cannot beat the price, and there is decent quality control to warrant getting one.

Learning bass guitars do make you stand out from the crowd. The lead guitar usually expresses the face and sound of the band with an exaggerated feel, but behind it is a bass guitar that brings vitality to the same band. The bass player usually calmly performs his own performance, making the entire band's energetic heartbeat continue to beat.
Playing a electric bass guitar is easy to learn, but it's hard to master, it all depends on where you want to match. Bass guitars are very easy to get started, most people can master the basics and start playing right away, but learning best bass guitars can also be very advanced, because it is an easy-to-use instrument that can be almost as infinite as possible. The right quality of the correct tuning and playing bass guitar and the richness of the rich tones are truly fascinating. Being a bass guitar player and being able to create such a sound yourself is still a much more exciting.
