Nice bass, no complaints there, would have given it 5 stars but the packaging was just awful, very thin box, ripped open at the seam to where I could actually see the bass!! It was wrapped in some foam cloth, I am very surprised it made it without getting destroyed!
Again, nice instrument though
I have a 13 yr old that wants to learn how to play bass. He's just over 4 ft tall and expressed that the guitars he uses in music class are too big for him. He loves it.
The bass showed up on time, but with several huge issues. Right away it needs a repair because the nut is cut too low under the E string so the low E rattles on the neck really really bad at the first fret when played open. The HH pickups are so weak that they barely register when plugged in DI through Reaper via Behringer UM2, which is not the case when I tested immediately after with another bass. Both volume knobs turn all the way around like the washers aren't tightened at all. So yeah, ...The bass showed up on time, but with several huge issues. So yeah, I'm not sure if I bought a lemon, but I am wholly 100% dissatisfied with this purchase which is too bad because it sure looks really cool and the hard-shell case I bought to go with the bass is great.

Glarry management has reached out to me for a replacement. The system won't allow me to remove the original review or amend the satisfaction but I am absolutely satisfied with the resolution of this situation.
I bought this bass because I have smaller hands and don't really like the normal scale bass. It's almost tiny compared to other short scale basses but the sound is great and it came set up right from the box. I just tuned it up and adjusted the height of one string and it's ready to go! Intonation was already set and neck looked good, no sharp frets. Good job Glarry!
I find it more than satisfactory for the money, had to do some minor adjustments to raise a couple of strings to stop some fret buzzing but otherwise it came ready to play.
Unique little Jazz Bass -No glossy finish. Easy player. Neck pickup is 11K ohms, Bridge is around 7,k ohms
I would suggest putting some nice stings on it.
This is such a well made instrument. I'm using it to record bass parts for a TV show I'm composing for. Thanks Glarry for making quality instruments at such an affordable price!
For the money. It's amazing! Bought for my daughter so she could learn. Seems pretty good. Sounds good but I'm no musician so take that with a grain of salt. Pick gaurd has a cosmetic small crack. Not sure if it came that way or just cracked right away . It's tiny. Only negative on this bass is body is very light so next drops easy.
For record, I've been a musician most of my existing life which is longer than the original BATMAN TV series. I couldn't be anymore happier with my purchase from Glarrymusic.com. I'm a drummer who likes to dabble with guitars...Everything I saw online started at $200+ for an introductory bass guitar but I didn't want to spend that since I will only be recording with it in my home studio. After watching several UTube videos I decided to buy my first electric bass and chose the Glarry GIB 4 string.
The frets were sharp so I am taking it to my local music store to have the frets filed and the strings changes and for them to properly set it up; meaning check the truss rod ...I'm a drummer who likes to dabble with guitars...Everything I saw online started at $200+ for an introductory bass guitar but I didn't want to spend that since I will only be recording with it in my home studio. I LOVE the finish and the fact it's so light ! The accessories were a nice gesture, but that's all they were.
All in all for an introductory instrument you cannot beat the price !
OK folks....I'm not a professional musician by any stretch of the imagination....but I DO love guitars and decided I would try the bass to add some variety to my instruments and learning. After searching pawn shops and online, I found GLARRY and decided to give them a chance...and I am SO grateful that I did! The Burning Fire Bass not only looks great, but it SOUNDS great. I had it out of the box and tuned in less than 10 minutes and so far, I've tried it out with my Fender Front Man and my Line 6 amp and I have to admit, it sounds AWESOME. I was worried that the bass would be heavy or clunky, but it's not. It's actually lighter than some of my guitars, but it has a well-balanced and sturdy feel to it. I immediately sent pics to my daughter (who IS a bass player) and she's gonna snag one as well. Like I told her, for the price of two tanks of gas, you can own a fine, quality instrument that you can enjoy longer than the gas will last! I recommend Glarry for those who want to take the leap and start playing or want to add some variety to their collection without having to take our a second mortgage! Good stuff!
Thank you Garry!!! Received the " burleywood " Jazz bass yesterday. This bass plays great and sounds great! I realized I don't need a 1,000 dollar bass to play music. I wished you were around in the 80's before I spent all that money...Steve
Very satisfied with this purchase. Excellent intro instrument into the fretless world. Arrived in good condition and playable out of the box. Neck heavy but that was expected when paying such a low price. Proves that you can make decent guitars without charging a fortune.
I have been playing fretted instruments for 44 years and bass for 20 of those years, but I have never played a frettless bass in my life until I decided to try this one. it was inexpensive enough to risk the failure. I LOVE IT! I was worried that I wouldn't know where the notes were but my ears and muscle memory were true to the sound. It feels natural and I found that I wasn't even looking at where my fingers are. Bass guitar very well built. Amp has static in it, but I did not return it, as I liked the guitar so much. Bought another cheap amp, and it is now fine. Would recommend that you buy the guitar alone, and buy a better, separate amp.
Great bass guitar, great stock sound, solid, easily customizable, awesome burning fire look, got the matching electric guitar to go along with the bass. After widening the slots on the nut, I put 135-130-125-120 size strings, and tuned to standard B (B-E-A-D), and the bass growls! I've had it just over a year now and no problems at all, and it hold tune very well. I typically don't need to tune it, I would highly recommend to others.
Saw this Amazing very Short Scale Electric Bass Guitar on the Glarry website and purchased it in a heartbeat. Now I own three Glarry basses & one on the way which will make it four. Thank you GLARRY for making it happen for me!!!
This is a nice bass guitar for beginners i ordered the dark blue one very pretty. The best part is that it cam the very next day i ordered the amp is ok for beginners but the bass is high quality and worth it.
Great Quality at an ASTONISHING PRICE! Plays, looks and feels, like Basses of 5 Times this Price.
Nice seperate volume and tone knobs for each pickup,Dual truss rods...Excellent finish
My only complaint is that I was not able to track my delivery. The instrument is fine! It did arrive within the 5 days promised and I am satisfied. I will order from you again.
I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with this instrument. From the moment I picked it up, I could tell that it was well-made.
The sound that comes out of this bass guitar is excellent, with a warm and full tone that is perfect for a wide range of musical styles. The only minor issue I have noticed is that the electronics are a bit quiet in terms of output and a little noisy because there is no shielding. I will work on those two issues and see if I can find a good solution.

Out of the box, the action on the guitar was spot-on, and I haven't had to make any adjustments to it. The finish on the guitar is also very nice, with a consistent and appealing look that is eye-catching.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with my purchase of this six-string bass guitar. It is a great instrument that is well-made, sounds great, and looks fantastic. I would highly recommend this bass guitar to anyone who is looking for a high-quality instrument that delivers great performance and value for the money.
Learning bass guitars do make you stand out from the crowd. The lead guitar usually expresses the face and sound of the band with an exaggerated feel, but behind it is a bass guitar that brings vitality to the same band. The bass player usually calmly performs his own performance, making the entire band's energetic heartbeat continue to beat.
Playing a electric bass guitar is easy to learn, but it's hard to master, it all depends on where you want to match. Bass guitars are very easy to get started, most people can master the basics and start playing right away, but learning best bass guitars can also be very advanced, because it is an easy-to-use instrument that can be almost as infinite as possible. The right quality of the correct tuning and playing bass guitar and the richness of the rich tones are truly fascinating. Being a bass guitar player and being able to create such a sound yourself is still a much more exciting.
