This is the first guitar I've ever owned. I'm absolutely loving it. I still can't believe I got everything for that price. I'm sure there's differences you would notice if you've been playing a long time but you'd be hard pressed to find a better starting set up. Used guitars online alone are usually in the $200 price range. This already came strung and you just throw a battery in the guitar and you can tune it easily. I'm extremely satisfied with this product
This is a sharp looking acoustic bass, I love the black. It comes tuned down so I tuned it up and strings are not too high, just right. Unplugged sound carries and is warm. I plugged her into my GK Legacy 210 amp and could create my favorite vintage sound by simply putting mids and highs flat and lows on high. That's just my preference. Built-in tuner is very accurate. The instrument arrived well packed, could not detect any dings or scrapes. Neck is straight. While an Ibanez acoustic bass is to ...This is a sharp looking acoustic bass, I love the black. While an Ibanez acoustic bass is too big for me to feel comfortably playing it, this shorter neck and smaller body acoustic Glarry is just my size. I like playing it. Very happy! The only thing I did not appreciate was the really short, cheap strap. I am a woman and it did not fit me, way too short like it is for a child. But that was an easy fix.
The little 15 Watt amp is very good. I take it to jams or into my RV for road trips together with "Black Betty", this is how I call my Glarry, This way I can practice while on the road without hauling the heavy gear. 2 thumps up!

Once I adjusted the Truss rod , I'm very happy with my purchase...
Guitar's action and sound are pleasing and the guitar delivers the bang for the buck I'm looking for at present....
Extremely satisfied with purchase, Bass is as described and sounds great. Needed asap for our son's class as his bass broke, the bass was shipped and delivered within a week or so of purchase.
Can say enough about the ease of transaction and fast delivery, will definitely keep in mind for future purchases and would recommend to anyone; don't hesitate, product is as described and will ship quickly. Thank you GlarryMusic!
I have to admit, for the price of this Bass Guitar my expectations were pretty low. But when it arrived and I unboxed it, I was blown away. Of course it arrived de-tuned, the string tension was reduced so the neck wouldn't deform during storage in the warehouse and the shipping time. I downloaded a Bass Tuning App to my phone and had the guitar ready to play in less than 15 minutes. The tone was perfect and I have no idea why other reviewers didn't like the factory installed strings, because I found them to be completely functional and I have no interest in replacing them until they actually wear out. I'm by no means a professional musician, I purchased the Bass to provide backup to my wife's Mandolin and it will be perfect for that function. It is pretty, well made, holds tune, and sounds great, and a great value for the price. What more needs to be said?
Nice beginner guitar for the price. Has great tone. Built in tuner, works great. Delivery time was very quick. Finish is very nice. I plugged into my amplifier and everything worked perfectly. I definitely recommend for a beginner or someone on a budget.
Sounds good and nice action. Cheap case, but very happy with the bass and all included pieces. Only one pick, but I won't be using for bass anyway. Well worth buying. Fast arrival also.
I was very surprised on how much I enjoy this bass. For the price you can't go wrong. It's perfect to just sit around and jam. With the built-in tuner it makes is nice to tune on the fly. So far I'm very pleased with this instrument.
Sounds great, but would recommend replacing stock strings. Beautiful guitar, built in tuner is a plus, and its acoustic electric. It's a full sized guitar the bass sounds great, and the highs aren't so bad I've played 30 plus songs on it the tuners take a bit to settle in you will be retuning the first 2 weeks a lot. Recommend getting a capo, hilariously it comes with an additional head tuner lol use that on my uke. Having owned a couple of acoustic basses previously, I didn't have high expectations for this one, but I have use for one. I ordered this one hoping it wasnt a waste of money. It wasn't!
Fit and finish is pretty good. There a couple of minor blems here and there, but barely noticable and dont affect the sound or playability in any way. As for sound, I was quite surprised at the deep resonant sound, producing a tight punchy bass without the "flappy" sound that many short scale basses have. The electronics work well and allow for quite a bit of tonal shaping. I was quite impressed to see a balanced XLR jack alongside the standard 1/4" output jack!
The action was a bit high out of the box. But nothing that a bit of truss rod adjusting couldn't fix. Once that was done and tuned up, I found that the intonation was excellent.
Best of all, this is great fun to play! I like this bass much better than I ever expected! It looks great and sounds great and does everything I need it to do!
Another big winner from Glarry!!
As a musician I got this for my nephew. I learned 30 years ago that cases are coffins for expensive guitars. You need cheap beaters to leave out on a stand, take camping, go to the beach, jam with friends at a BBQ, etc. If it gets ruined or broke its not a big loss and he is still playing and improving. This bass fit the bill perfectly. 5/5 would recommend as a cheap travel box.
Perfect starter guitar! I've been playing for over 10 years and purchased this one as my original acoustic was beyond repair. For the price, this is a great value. Very rich sound, easy to tune, and aesthetically appealing.
Very happy with this base, especially for the price. Has a really Good acoustical sound and sounds great through my PV black widows. The equalizer provides a nice range of sound, and the built-in tuner is pretty cool
I have.. No complaints. Complete newby for sure but a great value for the $$. Built in equalizer is a sweet feature. Connect it into an amp and you are ready to jam!
Nice little guitar for the price. Once tuned it stays in tune. Fret board is easy on the fingers. Haven't tried the equalizer as of this writing. The sound is sweet and smooth. The only issue is that there wasn't another button for a guitar strap, for which I installed myself.
Was on the fence, but loving it! I was on the fence about trying this out. I am a ukulele player but have thought about trying base for a while. The low price of this and the fact that it was acoustic with electric capabilities was appealing to me. This thing is pretty awesome! Feels like it is well built, sounds great (haven't tried the electric features yet), and I ama really enjoying learning to play on it!
