I receieved my Glarry GT102 a few years ago. I was very disappointed at first. Intonation was way off at the mid point of the neck, about a full note. I shaved the saddle on the bridge to make the strings much lower. This solved the intonation problem and lowered the action to make it much easier to play. Intonation went from a full note off at the mid point to 95% in tune. I also replaced the strings with extra light ones. I now like this guitar MUCH better! This Glarry plays almost as good as my nice Korean made Ovation CS257, and seem to play a little better than my less expensive Chinese made Ovation GC057. They all three play and sound about the same.
I agree with the other reviewer here that the appliques on the guitar, while attempting to look the same as the more expensive Ovation, come off looking really cheap when you see it in person. These are just plastic stickers, whereas on the real Ovation they are actually wood laminate.
So what I did was just take my fingernail and very carefully peel them off. The "glue" that holds them on is really sort of a gummy substance that is easy to peel off with your fingers and then take a little furniture cleaner to clean off the residue. Once you do that, it is a really nice, clean looking guitar that I would take anywhere.
This would be a good inexpensive guitar for a spare, for a beginner, or for someone just getting back into playing guitar if you like the Ovation sound, look and the feel of the electric guitar style fretboard.

I set the bass and mid switches to full setting with treble turned off using the built in controls or use the same amp setting for the piezo pickups through the tailpiece input. Played like an a stand up bass. A very reasonable string bass sound in a small package at the right price. I may de-fret it to squeeze out a little bit of " realness" out of it. Yes, the built in amp box buzzes a bit, nothing a few dabs of silicone won't fix. Is it worth the money? With the mods I made I would say "absolutely".

This is worth the money. You get what you pay for. A lot of work to set up, the neck was bowed,I had to sand the bridge .040" to get the proper string height and put in a shim to get it tight. The bass response is excellent, the tones are pleasing. I bought 4 of them, lacquered the tops, and traded one, gave two, and kept one in my collection.
TLDR: An ok classical guitar that comes with steel acoustic strings instead of classical nylon strings. Must buy some nylon strings separately along with it.

Listen, I understand I purchased a cheap guitar. There's 2 chips in the finish around sound hole, I can live with that. But after I installed a 9 volt battery, tuner didn't come on. Plugged up the amplifier and guitar not amplified. Found a little silver wire inside not connected. Took screws out of tuner/volume panel, pulled that out, fished little silver wire out ( No easy task ) and plugged it in. Put screws back in. Tuned guitar and wow, I'm really impressed. It easily pops out when you remove the strings. I also put new strings on it and that made a huge difference in sound output and tone. It sounds much better now. This guitar is really fun to play! I used D'Addario shortscale, nickel wound, medium gauge strings and they are perfect. Sanding the bottom of the saddle was easy. D ...I would have given it 5 stars, but it needs work to be playable. Love how loud it is. As an acoustic it is pretty good. But I'm not a fan of the EQ. It's too quiet when I plug it up to my fender rumble. It barely captures the sound of the E string. But besides that it's great to pickup and play
I adjusted the neck it plays pretty well, paint was pretty solid, it was packaged pretty ugly. The gig bag was cheap but the guitar overall sounded and built pretty well. They filed the 6-8 frets down so it clinks when I I strum low e on the 6th fretboard, but overall for the money it was absolutely worth it.
For less than $100, you literally cannot beat it. Had mine for about 2 days now, plays great, sounds great, literally no complaints. Obviously this isn't the cleanest luthier job i've ever seen, i can see glue inside, marks from filing, etc, but if you're spending this little on an acoustic bass, you can't complain. It plays and sounds great, comfortable, and as an intermediate bass player of 10 years, I can actually say I recommend this bass, as long as you aren't paying more than $100.
Can't beat the price. I picked this bass up as a take anywhere no worries instrument. I've played it every day since I received it the sound is great. I do have to tune it alot but the strings are new so that's expected. Tuner works great. Action is high but and easy fix. I have yet to plug it in so I'm not sure about the electrical side.

It arrived today. I opened and played it a few hours. The strings sort of wear off on me, literally. This is my fretting hand in the photo. Sort of the cool thing tho is that I can see what part of my hands I use. My other hand has a spot where i palm mute.
I think i'll get different strings for sure. I have not yet tried to amplify it.
While the bass itself was okay quality (the strings aren't the greatest) the customer service was amazing and helped me resolve any issues I had while playing the bass. Would highly recommend this bass because of the customer service, will definitely be buying from them again in the future.

The guitar I received had a large ding on the front face, the finish had scratches in it, and the electromics didn't work. I contacted customer service and they sent me another guitar. The replacement also had scratches in the finish, but the electronics worked, they definitely have quality control issues. The customer Service is great, 5 stars for them, but they are limited by the product that they represent.
