The electronics work well and allow for quite a bit of tonal shaping. I was quite impressed to see a balanced XLR jack alongside the standard 1/4" output jack!
The action was a bit high out of the box. But nothing that a bit of truss rod adjusting couldn't fix. Once that was done and tuned up, I found that the intonation was excellent.
Best of all, this is great fun to play! I like this bass much better than I ever expected! It looks great and sounds great and does everything I need it to do!

Okay so received the Glarry GT102 the body was in perfect shape upon further inspection tuning and stretching of the strings I noticed that the frets are super scratched and it appears they were hammered in with a waffle faced framing hammer and the fretboard itself wasn't even sanded to smoothness . I will be contacting customer service and see if we can resolve this issue

After some time and negotiation the company and I came to an agreeable compromise , as for customer service they are top notch in assisting me through the issue and process
This was a nice surprise since this was my first acoustic-electric guitar I purchased from Glarry Music. The guitar was packaged double boxed (very secure) and arrived promptly. The quality of the construction was better than expected and so was the see through Black finish. My finger board was very dark and the frets were reasonably smooth on this model. Even the gig bag was made of heavier material to protect the guitar from rain and dust - even keep little kid's sticky fingers off it. Conside ...This was a nice surprise since this was my first acoustic-electric guitar I purchased from Glarry Music. The guitar was packaged double boxed (very secure) and arrived promptly. The quality of the construction was better than expected and so was the see through Black finish. My finger board was very dark and the frets were reasonably smooth on this model. Even the gig bag was made of heavier material to protect the guitar from rain and dust - even keep little kid's sticky fingers off it. Considering it comes with budget strings it still has a nice tone. Allow your instrument to warm to room temperature and give it two days to allow stretching to occur to hold tune. Use a small Phillip's head screw driver to tighten the screws on the machine head knobs and snug screws mounting machine heads to head stock. I would recommend this to a beginner and even an experienced player needing a travel guitar as very little adjustment is needed out of the box to play it - tuning strings and tightening the machine head wings is normal for all guitars. An allen key is needed if you may need to straighten or add bow to the neck - allow it to adjust to room temperature before and after tuning it to check straightness of neck. My instrument did not require any truss rod adjustment and I experienced no fret bar buzzing. My suggestion is to purchase a better quality strap for this fine guitar, several Pics (start with mediums - ,72 - .80, and after playing it several months with the stock strings replace the strings with D'Addarios, Ernie Ball, or Martin strings and you will be amazed at the difference in tone and volume. The only real issue with my model, which was easy to fix (watched a Youtube video), was that the wiring harness between the controls and the receptacle had not been attached to the side of the guitar - was dangling in front of the sound hole. I just applied a small piece of two sided tape to the plastic mount and attached it to the side of the body.
Seems like a lack of varnish or primer on the face of the guitar, but could be the way it is, love the way the fretboard feels, overall I absolutely recommend this guitar, the price and sound are amazing.
I never leave reviews but this Bass nice, especially for the price.
It plays really well and seems well made. There's a preamp that takes a 9volt battery and has an equalizer built into it. The equalizer works really well and allows for a variety of tones.
Mine came with a strap and a gig bag. The bag is kind of thin, but it will keep the dust off it and keep it from being scratched. Overall, I am really satisfied with this bass.

The action is good right out of the box, but I like it really fast, so I will lower it a bit when I get a lighter set of strings, probably bronze. The bass has a full, rich, acoustic sound, and the electronics work as they should and is a nice added feature. The continuing shortfall is the gig bag, a padded bag is a must. Glarry, You might want to consider for future runs, an all Blonde, (Burlywood), finish guitar, Having the sides and back the same color as the front, with an unstained, satin finished neck would be awesome! Shipping the guitar with pickgaurd not attached to allow the buyer to decide if they want it on or not would be a nice option.
Won this guitar in a contest. Came with heavy gauge strings. Ordering new extra light ones. Intonation is slightly off on a few strings, but WAY off on the lower E string. Don't know if a luthier can fix it. Pickup is microphonic so it feeds back pretty quick, but tone controls are very effective. Overall, a nice sounding guitar if it can be properly set up. Thinking about re-tuning to Hawaiian slack key. Will re-post if I do.

However, if you are not the one holding the guitar, you will probably not notice any of what I just said.
The only adjustments I made to the guitar was to change the strings and lower the action a little by sanding down the bridge.
It played fine out of the box, but it plays amazing now.
The sound on this thing is phenomenal.
I do need to do some more work on it. I need to polish the frets and I want to upgrade the bridge and nut to bone. I also have yet to check the electronics, I'll post an update once I do.
I am very happy with what I got.

I purchased the Acustic Glarry 502 and showed up in good condition. The only thing was tuning geys was very stiff. They shipped new ones and refunded me 20 bucks. Cant say enough about the customer servise at Glarry. They go above and beyond on making it right. After some adjusting of the string height and new strings this is one nice playing and sounding guitar. Thinking about a electric Tele to add to the colection.

Just received my glarry guitar today and it seemed like they sent me a guitar that was returned by a different customer. The headstock was chipped and the sound hole seemed to have been faced with some discoloration and while i was tuning the guitar and noticed it wouldn't tune right i discovered that the bridge pin was displaced and pushed up. May i please be sent a new fresh guitar since it seems like this guitar was a guitar that was sent back by an unsatisfied customer?

I have reached to customer service about a major TWIST in the neck of the recieved instrument. Included pictures and sent them to customer service to have the issue addressed. But was only advised to adjust the neck. A twist cannot be adjusted. The only fix is to replace the entire neck. Tried to hold off on this awful review. But have been met with resistance from Glarry and im not sure as to why. This is my 2nd guitar from Glarry and my GTL was a fantastic instrument. I'm very happy with the guitar I purchased. My son is turning 13 and wanted an acoustic guitar to start learning how to play and I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a guitar that he might not stick with. This is a very nice guitar with good sound and a good look. I'm very pleased with the price and the quality. Thank you.
I bought this guitar to fix up and customize. For the price, I think it's a great deal. But it needs far more work than the Glarry Strat-style electric I customized, especially the binding and finish. That said, it's assembled, and it sounds good, making it a better deal than the much more expensive acoustic kits I've seen.
