I am pretty happy with the end results, I'll start with the cons because it's a short list: there were a few chips in the paint on the bass when it arrived (somewhere around 2-4). This is likely a shipping issue more than Glarry itself, however they are so small and obscure you would have to know they are there and look straight for them in order to see them. Now onto the pros: Price, price price. Glarry has put profit behind them and prioritized putting instruments into the hands of as many p ...

I own 2 Glarry guitars. One bass, one guitar. They are a great value for the money. Are they as good as a $2,000 guitar? No. But they are great for a new player. They are fun to play, Light. You can upgrade them and make them great. You should put new strings on them at least. Maybe file the ends of the frets. If you put new Tuning pegs and pickups for a grand total of $200 in upgrades =$300 it would be as good as a $2,000 guitar to 99% of listeners. I want to buy 5 more, but my wife i ...

Set up very well, near perfect intonation and action. Straight neck. Electronics give off a slight buzz when DI into system when all 4 knobs all the way up. Frets beveled nicely on ends. Back of neck needed more sanding, has some rough spots. Shipped with brand new strings. Low B doesn't buzz which is amazing. Sounds excellent with a good pre amp. Highly recommend for intermediate bassists. Would I rather play a $1,200 P bass? Yes but I would rather pay $130 for a bass that is 80% as good and to ...

Really happy with this purchase. The guitar looks great, sounds really good and feels well built and sturdy. Came with a tiny bit of fret buzz on one or two frets, but nothing a 5 minute set-up couldn't fix - and most basses need a little adjustment out of the box so that's to be expected. The head is also a tiny bit heavy in comparison to the body when it comes to overall weight balance - but this is a minor gripe indeed and the bass still plays comfortably and sits well. Will be using this bas ...

I am a music professional, making my living touring, teaching and playing, based out of Los Angeles. I am very surprised at the practicality and useability of this instrument. I bought just to see how good or bad it was, and I have to say, for the money? It's a GREAT deal. I was a little unhappy with the wood grain on the particular bass that was sent to me, it's not beautiful to look at, like the photo, but that's hit or miss, understandably, when someone else is grabbing a boxed instrument wit ...

The fretless bass I bought is fine, i have to turn neck slightly ( that's expected when buying a new bass) to adjust string height. But what ever company does glarrys shipping doesnt care much about there clients package. There a gash/ hole in box and was half open I'm surprised the bass didnt fall out. Bass was ok no issues from that I got lucky. A fretless bass for 119.00 was worth it. Never played a fretless so this was perfect for me. And for someone starting to play (a beginner) there bass ...

Everything came in on time and in good condition. Only problem I have is that the D & G strings will not amplify. Plugged the guitar into 3 different amps and still, the pickup did not amplify the sound. I'm guessing a defective pickup. Will have to call Cust. Svc. and see what to do to rectify the issue. Otherwise, the bass sounds good and looks good.

Based on reviews online and detailed videos this budget bass was said to be playable with minor work to the frets and neck. My neck was amazing on my Glarry JazzII. The nut and set up of the strings were unplayable. Performed a setup but this was not ready to be played at all. The nut wasn't filed down and the slots were not even present on the top two strings. I wouldn't recommend for beginners because they wouldn't know what is needed if it arrived like mine. Spend more time making sure the i ...

The bass guitar is playable and sounds good. We did adjust the action on the strings, but the equipment to do so was provided. The strap is not very comfortable in our opinion and will need to be replaced. The cable is functional. The 20w amp will not work for shows or practice with a drum set, but it is functional for solo or one-on-one practice. The gig bag is functional as a carrying case.

Love the bass. The amplifier is a "little" undersized. The package is a good deal!

Bass is perfect for me beginning a beginner and never having touched a bass before. Shipping was fast and bass was definitely safe in the packaging.

Fast shipping! I ordered the yellow GP bass, the yellow looks more golden/yellow. Not as dynamic of a color as the picture online. Nice playing and sounding bass though.....That's what really matters doesn't it? It was set up really nice right out of the box! Once again, fast shipping. Thank you.

The quality all in all is good other than fret buzzing and the guitar being very neck heavy but id say this is a good guitar for starters.

hey. I like the bass and everything that came with it BUT I'm from the US so our outlets are not this big I have a bass but no amp because the end of the cord is too wide, is their anyone you guys could fix it or like I'm not sure what to do - from a beginner

This bass is amazing it's just one little small issue which is that the volume isn't as loud as I expected but other than everything is perfect and just right

Can't complain about the value. It's beautiful to look at, the PJ pickups along with roto-like medium strings sound beautiful, and 24 frets are all one can ask for. I did spend much time lowering the action and straightening the neck. But the adjustability is there. There is an odd wiring error where either tone know does the same thing to either or both pickups. Will be reviewing and changing the wiring down the road. Also disappointed in the tuners, which do feel too cheap. Lots of play before ...

Nice playing bass for the money. Bright strings, great tone and set up great right out of the box.

on Jul 06, 2021

This is definitely a great bass for the price, a great first time bass for beginners and a great feel for even advanced players..setup is pretty easy if you know what your doing..I lowered the strings, and set the intonation, truss rod was good to go. The amp is good for practice and is lightweight, perfect for travel and just sitting around at home practicing..just what you'd expect for a small amp of its kind..I'm very pleased with it all, thanks again for making an affordable bass that doesn' ...

Fast delivery. good instrument, one complaint: Product description did not indicate that it is a "Long Scale" Bass. I prefer the Short Scale Bass. On the picture, I counted 20 frets and assumed that it was a short neck instrument because most long scale instruments have more frets. My mistake. I'll get used to it.

Learning bass guitars do make you stand out from the crowd. The lead guitar usually expresses the face and sound of the band with an exaggerated feel, but behind it is a bass guitar that brings vitality to the same band. The bass player usually calmly performs his own performance, making the entire band's energetic heartbeat continue to beat.

Playing a electric bass guitar is easy to learn, but it's hard to master, it all depends on where you want to match. Bass guitars are very easy to get started, most people can master the basics and start playing right away, but learning best bass guitars can also be very advanced, because it is an easy-to-use instrument that can be almost as infinite as possible. The right quality of the correct tuning and playing bass guitar and the richness of the rich tones are truly fascinating. Being a bass guitar player and being able to create such a sound yourself is still a much more exciting.
