Out of the box, the neck tension rod was loose, action was high, bridge was not adjusted for intonation, fingerboard was very dry and tuners required lubrication. Not unusual for an instrument straight from the factory. Issues fixed with standard setup ($60-$100 at most shops). Bass looks good, is lightweight, stays in tune, plays well, electronics work well with no noise or buzzing. If you can find a better bass for the money-buy it. Hint: You won't find a better bass for the money.

This is a great base for the cost. The finish was good and the base played well right out of the box. I am waiting for the Fretless base to become available again and I will order one.

Convinced my mom to buy this for me over a week ago for my first bass. It's a fun hobby to dedicate yourself to since we're all locked inside. Looks great, sounds better, nice and simple controls for a beginner. One out of two of the zippers on the gig bag fell off but tbh I was expecting that. I bought the Glarry Jazz bass hoping to be able to make it functional. What I got when the guitar arrived was a total surprise. The bass was beautiful. The control knobs worked smoothly and the pickups sounded great.The finish sparkled and shined and the set up was spot on except for a little intonation work. Wanted an inexpensive bass and amp to play with my sons (guitar and drummer). Had to make some height adjustments to the strings to get rid of fret buzz. Amp was not working but after opening it up, found a connector unplugged to circuit board and that corrected the problem. Overall satisfied with bass and amp for the price. Can't wait to hear the tone with a better amp - not a lot of low end on this little one, but wouldn't expect anything different.

The fretboard did have some scratches and I did have some problems with the volume knob being stiff and really hard to turn but I contacted their customer service and they were able to help me out with the issues. So 4 stars for their customer service as they were quite helpful and understanding. As for the bass I give it 3 stars though mine did had some issues when I received it but after contacting customer service they were able to help me out with my concerns quickly and kindly.

I am a long-time guitar player who decided during Corona lockdown that this would be the perfect time to learn the bass. I didn't want to spend much money but I wanted quality. This all started with the purchase of a Glarry P Bass, Just wanted to see what you get for such a cheap price, outta the box played well and had nice sound...hums at high volume, but iI sanded the neck and fret ends, and put on a set of Fender Studio bass roundwounds , and this thing PLAYS and Sounds AWESOME!! Had friends play it who own Name brand P basses and they loved it.

I love this bass guitar. It's playable right out of the Box, And the quality is great. You can't go wrong especially at the price level, This bass guitar is worth every penny. Is the quality as good as a Fender precision ,bo, but do you get a Mercedes Benz for a Kia a price? I would recommend this guitar to anybody, don't hesitate just buy it and start playing. you can't go wrong for the price

Bought it as a graduation gift for our granddaughter. She loves it and immediately started to play it and learn some songs. IT seems to be a great beginner instrument.

The Bass was really nice when it arrived a little adjustments and it was good as gold really nice bass for the price it plays just as nice as my squire j bass and it sounds just as good as well

I ordered the Glarry GP bass and amp for my son and it came much faster then I thought. He is in lock down because of the virus and wanted to give him something to do besides classwork on line. I'm a 40-year veteran bassist and I'm extremely happy with my glarry precision bass and Jazz Bass. I cannot believe the sound and quality I received at such a small price. I will be using these bases in live performances as well as some recordings along with my music man and Fender basses. I also purchased a Telecaster for my son and he's extremely happy with it. I'm looking forward to receiving a fretless bass and a 5-string bass from you all. Thanks again for all you do for us.

All in all, a great buy. The bass is well made for the price, feels nice (some people don't seem to like the thicker neck, but I find it very comfortable), and the yellow looks vibrant and awesome. My only issue with the bass is that even with the bridge completely lowered the action is still fairly high, but I was able to make the grooves deeper with a needle file, so not a huge deal to me as I like to modify things anyway. My new j-bass arrived promptly and in great condition. After a minor setup procedure and a bit
of polishing, it was time to play. I was immediately impressed with the tonal variations produced
through my amp with slight adjustments with the tone and volume controls. I also really like the feeling and playability

I recently purchased this bass. When it came in, the pickups were damaged, but customer service gave me no problems. They sent me a replacement.
The replacement came in, and I am hard pressed to find anything wrong with it. I adjusted the action and tuned it up, and I was playing the bass. It sounds great and feels great. The neck is straight and isn't as fat as the Glarry Precision Bass (which I also have). No dead frets. No grounding issues.

I love this bass! Shipped perfectly, no scrapes or dents. The yellow looks much nicer in person than it does in pictures, less of an electric banana and more of a mustard. The body is very light, which is nice overall, but it does create a bit of a balancing issue; the headstock dips down when i'm holding it, so when I play it I have to push down on the body harder than I normally would. Regardless, I'm giving it 5 stars because it's a fantastic deal.

I own 2 Glarry guitars. One bass, one guitar. They are a great value for the money. Are they as good as a $2,000 guitar? No.
But they are great for a new player. They are fun to play, Light. You can upgrade them and make them great. You should put new strings on them at least.
Maybe file the ends of the frets. If you put new Tuning pegs and pickups for a grand total of $200 in upgrades =$300 it would be as good as a $2,000 guitar to 99% of listeners.

Excellent value, arrived quickly and in great shape. My 5 star rating is based on my expectations - I was aware that the neck would probably need a little sanding, action would need set up. The neck was indeed rough and the frets were a bit sharp-edged, but a little work with a Scotchbrite pad and the enclosed allen wrenches and you have an excellent bass. Great!

This bass is well made, nice light body, low action, sounds great but, the poles on the pickups don't line up with the low B string very well. The neck is a bit wide, but then again this is my first 5 string bass. The price unbelievable at $ 129.99 with free shipping. If I already didn't have 18 guitars and 6 basses I would get more, however, I am running out of room to keep them. The right quality of the correct tuning and playing bass guitar and the richness of the rich tones are truly fascinating. Being a bass guitar player and being able to create such a sound yourself is still a much more exciting.
