I'm a veteran bassist with countless performances and recordings to my credit. I've owned fender, gibson, ibanez, Warrick, etc, but my 3 Glarrys are amazing. So much bass for so little money. This recent 5 string jazz bass will be going into the recording studio with me in February. Once I set them up my way, they get "gigged" immediately. I look forward to trying whatever Glarry has to offer, peace.
Not a bad instrument to start the bass hobby. It plays decent. This one came on time before Christmas. I noticed a few bad things:
1. Some of the screws came loose and not screwed in all the way
2. The cord that comes with it broke after a few sessions, it made static noises and very irritating.
3. The strap can easily be undone accidentally, it can be hazardous to you or anything that this bass guitar can fall on.
4. Customer service not good. They haven't replied to me yet, I reported the ...Not a bad instrument to start the bass hobby. It plays decent. This one came on time before Christmas. I noticed a few bad things:

Just received my GJazz bass via FedEx which came sooner than originally estimated. I can't be more impressed with the guitar especially for the price! The action was rather high, but I easily lowered it. I'll adjust the truss rod in a few weeks once it acclimates which should bring it down to typical action height. Two of the pickup screws weren't all the way seated which was an easy fix. The neck appears to be unfinished and a tad rough for my taste . . . 600 grit sanding did the trick. No sharp edges on the frets which was a pleasant surprise. So far no issues with it staying in tune. I'm happy with the sound and have no desire to change the pickups . . . I'm using it to record so I can adjust the sound through software if ever needed. The finish is impressive . . . looking close I can see slight remnants of sanding scratches under the clear and an area with what looks like sagging finish that was buffed out. But it's remarkable for an $85 guitar! I'm tempted to buy a few guitars now . . . can't go wrong!

Thanks for your comment. We will try harder to offer better products and service. Looking forward to your next visit! Glarry
To be honest I didn't have crazy high expectations, and the actual sound of the bass is better than what I had expected for the price. I'm giving this a 1 star review because out of the box the fret ends are so sharp on both sides of the neck that's it's like a cheese grater for your hands. I'm going to have to get the proper tools and fix it myself or pay someone to do it which will probably cost more than the bass itself. Just got my Glarry jazz bass and have to say wow. This bass is worth the price even at twice the cost. Had to lower action and peal the film of the guard and then play. Great feel and tone. Well worth it and will be getting a P bass in the next few weeks.
Blue jazz bass. Delivered in 8 days.Guitar almost perfect,Blueburst very dark, uneven color. Plays great lowered action and set intonation. Steel wool to smooth neck. Oiled fretboard. Good to go, Worth $80.

Bought for one of my brothers half my age, he loves it. I set it up for him and it seemed pretty sweet, however I'm not too familiar with bass guitars even though setup is relatively similar to electric. The only thing that really stuck out to me is that the tuning machines seem a little weird. Otherwise, I thought it was a good value, and my four brothers all have a guitar too now
Love my new bass!! Great for practice along with the tiny amp it came with. I highly recommend this brand for beginners especially for its price point.
Excellent purchase all the way around.GREAT VALUE!!!
The bass was beautiful, light, sounds great. Just some tweaks in the truss rod and bridge saddles and Voila!!
Thanks so much!
I love my new bass it sounds great I haven't played one since 2012 I got real sick and could not play one I'm a little better now and I'm having a great time.
I'm a beginner at bass and I've been playing this every day! It's great quality for the price. The neck is a little thicker than the standard electric guitar neck but that's not an issue for me, the design is overall very sleek and the pickups are wonderful. The amp has the classic set of controls for volume, high, mids, bass. Works great, haven't had any issues so far - I would recommend for beginning players because of the great price point, but anyone would be able to enjoy this bass.
Great inexpensive P Bass. I like it better than my Squier. Good looks, light weight and sounds great (with a set of Roto Sound Flat Wounds on it). Absolutely amazing for an instrument at this price point. Photo is me with the bass. I'm a big Devo fan and the bass matches my Devo Energy Dome. Nice and light for a 70 year old guy (my Fenders weigh a ton).
I am seriously in love with this bass guitar, the weight and color are perfect, it has a really nice jazzy full tone that is perfect for my style of music (Alternative Punk)
The GIB 5 string arrived on time, but the box was badly damaged. I thought for sure the Bass would damaged, but to my surprise it is not. The Bass plays pretty good for the price paid. I plan to change the
pickups because they are pretty weak, especially on the Low B string. I've replaced the pickups on my Glarry Jazz Bass 4 string for the same reason. I will also put flatwound strings on the Bass. The tuning keys seem to be holding up for now, but I might put Gotoh tuners on in the future. I pu ...The GIB 5 string arrived on time, but the box was badly damaged. There are some minor finish flaws on the body of the Bass, but nothing very noticeable. Over all
for the price paid, I'm satisfied with this 5 String Bass and I will be ordering a hard shell case from Glarry to protect it.

Just got my new bass and I love it. The deal is fabulous. The only issue I've had is the strap that comes with it is a little short for me. I like to play with my bass slung a bit lower. I'll bet I can find a good deal on one here. If you want to play a bass guitar, you can't go wrong with this package
Great quality bass. I also love the mp3 port on the amp to play tracks while I jam
Learning bass guitars do make you stand out from the crowd. The lead guitar usually expresses the face and sound of the band with an exaggerated feel, but behind it is a bass guitar that brings vitality to the same band. The bass player usually calmly performs his own performance, making the entire band's energetic heartbeat continue to beat.
Playing a electric bass guitar is easy to learn, but it's hard to master, it all depends on where you want to match. Bass guitars are very easy to get started, most people can master the basics and start playing right away, but learning best bass guitars can also be very advanced, because it is an easy-to-use instrument that can be almost as infinite as possible. The right quality of the correct tuning and playing bass guitar and the richness of the rich tones are truly fascinating. Being a bass guitar player and being able to create such a sound yourself is still a much more exciting.
