The bass came super quick. I'll need to do a little adjustment, but it played pretty well the way it was out of the box. The amp is a pretty nice little practice amp. I really didn't need the amp, but it's light weight. Sounds great. This makes my 3rd Glarry bass purchased. As with all my Glarry basses, I'll put it up with my other high end basses.

This is the first bass I've purchased. I got the burning fire sunburst bass/amp combo for 187$ Shipped! I Assumed and was willing to do a little work to the guitar because that's a great deal. have played guitar for years. Decided I wanted a bass but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg. I've been playing bass for over 50 years and have owned and built probably 60 instruments. I prefer 5 string with a low B and am partial to a Fender jazz style 2 pickup passive configuration. I got my Glarry last week, unboxed it , and immediately removed the neck and pulled the frets off. Yep, I'm a fretless dude, upright and electric and yes, both 5 string. My New Glarry G Jazz Bass Was Great Right Out Of The Box. No Adjustments Were Needed And Of Course Like All My Other Glarry Instruments, No User Upgrades Are Needed. As a drummer who decided to dabble on learning a new instrument, this was a great, affordable option. I had already purchased a decent Jackson bass guitar within my budget, and this was kind of an added bonus as I needed a practice amp and it just happened to come with some extras (including a 2nd bass guitar). 5 string bass in burley wood.
Fit and finish first class. Unbelievably light. Fantastic value for money. Mine played very badly out of the box, with the neck seemingly overdone on the truss rod. Relaxed that a turn, set intonation and saddles and it's pretty good now imo. Think it would benefit from having some frets filed a bit. But all in all it's excellent for the money. This bass is great. There was something that was way off. First the tuners were installed in a hap hazard manner as shown by the picture below. Apparently the bass was hit in the factory before it was boxed up as the G tuner shaft was bent and the tuner was hitting the D tuner. You have since replaced the tuners but the installation in the head stock. The space between the tuners is hap hazard, from E to A, 1/4 inch, from A to D, 3/8 inch, and from D to G, 1/16 inch.inch. I like this bass. It's playable, with some fret buzz. Something I've noticed is that the amp will buzz sometimes. It's alright. Worth the purchase.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the bass, especially considering the cost. The amp is not grounded and does tend to hum excessively, but for relearning after over four decades off from traveling with a band it's great. I was also impressed that it came with round wound strings on it - back in the 1970's the Rickenbacker 4001 and the Fender Jazz bass I played came with flat wound strings that had to be switched out.

The right quality of the correct tuning and playing bass guitar and the richness of the rich tones are truly fascinating. Being a bass guitar player and being able to create such a sound yourself is still a much more exciting.
