OK I have played 60 years. For the price of this guitar, if you know how to set up an instrument, it's definitely worth it. Needed complete set up out of the box. Some glue residue in the FHole, which was easily removed. Pick up height needed adjustment and that necessitated the removal of pick guard. Curious as to why the pick guard does not go right down to the rear pick up trough but that's OK. Tuners needed to be tightened with hex as well as string hold down. OK I have played 60 years. For the price of this guitar, if you know how to set up an instrument, it's definitely worth it. Needed complete set up out of the box. Neck completely dry needed major neck dressing. Truss rod needed complete adjustment. Bridge hardware problematic, but usable. Obviously, replace strings immediately. Now… Once I got it, nearly tuned up and adjusted string height and intonation… Sounds surprisingly good with the neck pick up. And I have a 1966 telecaster with Maple cap and hum bucker. It is nowhere near that guitar but… It is entirely playable especially if you'd like a thicker neck. Some people will not like the neck I don't mind it. It could be shaped a bit better…. bottom line… Was $128 with free delivery and the little amplifier. Haven't tried the amp. I suspect it's a joke, but this guitar with a bit more set up it's going to be usable. But you have to know how to set up an instrument or it's basically useless…
