Arrived in a great condition being only in one box. Finish is absolutely stunning, I love this yellow. So from the headstock down. Tuning keys perfect, no buzz or rattle, haven't found any buzzing frets. A very minor setup made the action perfect. The bridge and saddles worked fine, not high dollar stuff but functional. I received the guitar in cold dry weather which is responsible for the few fret sprouts. The frets were level so I dressed the ends, lowered the nut a bit, set the action and it plays great. Buy this bass. If you cant do it, have set up and you will love it. Any new guitar I have ever owned needed set up some worse than others. That's why I learned to do it. This is truly a great value, shipping was fast and best of all I can play it and it records well. Great job Glarry. I don't know how you do it for the money.

I watched a couple of reviews on YouTube about this guitar and decided to purchase one for my 14yr old son who has never played a bass before. I was extremely surprised of the quality for such a low price. It came without any defects and was very clean. Reviewers on YouTube mentioned that the neck was a little big but I'm guessing my son has longer fingers than normal because he says its perfect size.The sound is pretty good with tolerable feedback and he uses the amp also for an electric Squire ...

Reviewers on YouTube mentioned that the neck was a little big but I'm guessing my son has longer fingers than normal because he says its perfect size.The sound is pretty good with tolerable feedback and he uses the amp also for an electric Squire guitar that was given to him and it sounds decent. He is now wanting to buy the Jazz version of this bass and possibly a bigger amp. It was definitely a good purchase and for an entry level bass, I will rate it 5 stars for price and quality.

one word,IMPRESSIVE....unwrapped a new Glarry 5 string bass. Nice neck ,no burs on the fret edges,smooth & rolled over nicely .Tuned it up and intonation was set really nice.Plugged it in,& wow ,not bad .....a bit of microphonics, but,all in all HOW THE HELL CAN THEY TURN OUT A PRODUCT THIS IMPRESSIVE FOR THE MONEY THEY CHARGE??? It has one of the nicest necks I have ever seen on a guitar in my 25 years around guitars. There are no sharp fret ends and the neck is rolled very nicely. Great fret size and a joy to play. All electronics are solid and it stays in tune amazingly well. Negatives..finish quality is not the greatest but no glaring flaws. And the tuners are cheap but, as mentioned, ...

I have been a luthier for over 40 years. I build, restore, and repair acoustic and electric guitars. I can honestly say that i am truly amazed by this guitar. Even with my resources i couldn't build a guitar of this quality for this price! I bought the guitar with intensions of upgrading the tuners, pickups and bridge. However, it plays great as is so i wont be doing these upgrades. This guitar plays and sounds every bit as good as my Strat Players and MIM guitars. Excellent product!
Shipping was super fast! Now the guitar finish is good, action is very high and I don't see an adjustment nut for the neck seems odd that you can't adjust neck! but the price is good and so is the sound! If I could adjust the neck I would give it 4 stars instead of 3

This is my first bass, and I'm really liking it. It required major lowering of the string action and a couple of frets were high, but a little bit of setup and fret leveling made it play very nicely. I would definitely buy another Glarry instrument.

Basic Strat type in burst finish at $65 delivered to central VA from MD... in a plain box and some foam and a sleeve to protect it. Cord, strap, plain unpadded gig bag, tremolo bar. It's a $65 delivered guitar, so it is cheap in every way for the components: light woods, light steel in the frets, budget metal in the hardware and tuners. BUT... if you can do basic setup and have regular tools of a setup, it is nearly set up. The plastic nut needs all 6 slots deepened a biti and the action is almost OK.... 1/16" for the E to D and the bass A and E are about 3/32" over the 12th fret. For most guys, good enough. No switch or pot noise. Jack nuts cannot be loosened easily, so just accept that the threaded trube-shaft sticks out a bit. For VERY cheap, it is pretty good and VERY light. Chunky neck needs to be smoothed with 320 grit paper lightly and I took of the GLARRY inked logo easily. I wiped the clean and humidified neck (damp sponge in the box with the removed neck alone) with a light coat of tung oil (TRUOIL). All fret ends needed just a touch of 3-corner fret end file and the frets are polished off with carborundum cloth. If you have good basic skipps, it's a pretty good guitar for cheap. If you want quality, get a USED Squier Standard or even Affinity and have it set up. Glarry is delivering cheap for cheap cost and FAST delivery to the door. As a Strat, it is 'good enough' to own and hone skills on. It is a budget guitar well done and the 4 center screws of the bridge are not drilled prefectly as a machine would do. My guess is that workers are doing the tasks fast to get them out and china is NOT a free country.Accept that.
