It arrived today. I opened and played it a few hours. The strings sort of wear off on me, literally. This is my fretting hand in the photo. Sort of the cool thing tho is that I can see what part of my hands I use. My other hand has a spot where i palm mute.
I think i'll get different strings for sure. I have not yet tried to amplify it.
I read other reviews that said it was a good guitar for what you paid for it, and I agree. I'm completely satisfied with the purchase, its even a little better than I expected. I lowered the action and replaced the strings, like others suggested, and it made the sound much better.
If you want a good acoustic bass for $100, you'll really like it.
While the bass itself was okay quality (the strings aren't the greatest) the customer service was amazing and helped me resolve any issues I had while playing the bass. Would highly recommend this bass because of the customer service, will definitely be buying from them again in the future.
Great value for the money. Smaller size acoustic bass, well made for the money! Spruce top, standard hardware for price range, plastic nut and bridge. Plugs in and plays well, on-board electronic pickup functions through the full range of tones clearly. Neck straight but set up is high after 7th fret, can easily be remedied by trimming the bridge in 15 minutes. The bag is worthless except to keep dust off, so pick up a cheap padded gig bag. More than i expected!Expect to replace the strings (arrived partially unwound at the tuning end, making tuning turns inconsistant) and to adjust the action but not bad for the price
Got my GT502 in today. I always worry about all my orders and this one was no exception. It arrived in 4 days from placing the order (Nice) At first glance the box wasn't damaged also nice. So the wife and I unboxed it. So the guitar was in foam rap and not in its gig bag no big deal but it was just rattling around in the box. I would have liked to have seen more protection but again not to big of a deal. The guitar was in great shape and no damage again very nice. Keeping in mind this is a low ...Got my GT502 in today. As I was looking it over I noticed the tuning pegs didn't match but worked smoothly (Will be changing those) The action is very high making it hard to play (Will be dropping that down) 1st string broke while tuning (Not a biggy) Over-all for the money its a good deal just expect to adjust it to your liking. Would I buy another Glarry product? Yes I would. They seem to be good starter instruments.

Unfortunately, quality of the build on this guitar wasn't great. I own several other glarry guitars and this one is such a disappointment. The decal surrounding the voice holes was lifting immediately on unpacking the guitar and the perforations were incompletely done. The nut was very roughly cut and overall the guitar felt badly made.
I did contact after sales service at Glarry since they have always been receptive and responsive in the past and I am pleased with the support they offered but ...Unfortunately, quality of the build on this guitar wasn't great. I own several other glarry guitars and this one is such a disappointment. The CS team at Glarry are far better than you might expect from any manufacturer or distributor of items at this price point or even at a far higher one.

But I took pictures and contacted costumer service, which they make very easy to do, and they sent a replacement quickly.
The new one is in perfect shape.
These guitars are so crazy awesome. $120 and they play and sound great. Really.

If your a beginner this will get you going for a long time. The string action is fantastic. So you won't struggle with difficulty pressing the strings
down and tone changes from having to push the string so far to get it to fret. The neck is thin and easy to hold.
I can see there is not going to be enough room to write everything I think you need to know about these guitars here.
I couldn't wait to show off my $120 guitar to my buddies who think you have to pay $600 + for any kind of quality. LOL
This thing rocks.
The intonation is even dead on.
I'm not saying this is a $600 guitar for $120. But it is very pretty and every thing works great and sounds wonderful.
I even made a video about it I just don't see any where to post it. :-(
In the video I play it both acoustically and plugged into an FX rack so you could actually hear how great these things sound.

The guitar I received had a large ding on the front face, the finish had scratches in it, and the electromics didn't work. I contacted customer service and they sent me another guitar. The replacement also had scratches in the finish, but the electronics worked, they definitely have quality control issues. The customer Service is great, 5 stars for them, but they are limited by the product that they represent.
