As a musician I got this for my nephew. I learned 30 years ago that cases are coffins for expensive guitars. You need cheap beaters to leave out on a stand, take camping, go to the beach, jam with friends at a BBQ, etc. If it gets ruined or broke its not a big loss and he is still playing and improving. This bass fit the bill perfectly. 5/5 would recommend as a cheap travel box.
Perfect starter guitar! I've been playing for over 10 years and purchased this one as my original acoustic was beyond repair. For the price, this is a great value. Very rich sound, easy to tune, and aesthetically appealing.
Very happy with this base, especially for the price. Has a really Good acoustical sound and sounds great through my PV black widows. The equalizer provides a nice range of sound, and the built-in tuner is pretty cool
Guitar looks nice. However, it's not very playable. The nut is way too high. Very hard to do a full F chord on it. I can fix that by removing the nut, sanding it down and regluing it. May have to sand the bridge down a bit. action may be high as well. Also, the built-in pickup is not very good. The high E and the low E strings are loud. The other 4 strings are not that loud when plugged into an amp. Guitar was poorly strung. At times when I tune it, I hear strings slipping at the brid ...Guitar looks nice. Update: Satisfied with the customer service. They worked with me on my issues.
I mean, for being one of the cheapest bass guitars on Amazon, it's not bad. But you can definitely tell it's a cheaply made instrument. As others have stated, mine too came with several blemishes, but nothing bad enough to me warrant a return. The tuning pegs are cheap, and I may try and replace them. The tuner works well, which I seem to be using a lot due to the pegs.
Overall, it's a good bass, but it definitely sounds and plays like a beginner instrument. I have.. No complaints. Complete newby for sure but a great value for the $$. Built in equalizer is a sweet feature. Connect it into an amp and you are ready to jam!
Nice little guitar for the price. Once tuned it stays in tune. Fret board is easy on the fingers. Haven't tried the equalizer as of this writing. The sound is sweet and smooth. The only issue is that there wasn't another button for a guitar strap, for which I installed myself.
Was on the fence, but loving it! I was on the fence about trying this out. I am a ukulele player but have thought about trying base for a while. The low price of this and the fact that it was acoustic with electric capabilities was appealing to me. This thing is pretty awesome! Feels like it is well built, sounds great (haven't tried the electric features yet), and I ama really enjoying learning to play on it!
Okay so received the Glarry GT102 the body was in perfect shape upon further inspection tuning and stretching of the strings I noticed that the frets are super scratched and it appears they were hammered in with a waffle faced framing hammer and the fretboard itself wasn't even sanded to smoothness . I will be contacting customer service and see if we can resolve this issue

After some time and negotiation the company and I came to an agreeable compromise , as for customer service they are top notch in assisting me through the issue and process
So I am a bass guitar player for many years and own dozens of Hi end brand bass guitars ,so when a friend asks me to help him out with buying bass guitar for his son who is a beginner player, like any father who has been through the invest money in a instrument only to find out that the child has lost interest , and the fear that investing in the low budget instrument that is not a toy, I have to say that this bass is very impressive for the pasos, the fit Finnish and sound quality is very good, ...So I am a bass guitar player for many years and own dozens of Hi end brand bass guitars ,so when a friend asks me to help him out with buying bass guitar for his son who is a beginner player, like any father who has been through the invest money in a instrument only to find out that the child has lost interest , and the fear that investing in the low budget instrument that is not a toy, I have to say that this bass is very impressive for the pasos, the fit Finnish and sound quality is very good, this coming from a guy that has spent thousands on a single bass guitar, for a beginner or for a guy who wants a beater guitar that is fun to play without the cost , this is well worth it

Action was "not bad" out of the box but I did adjust the neck (loosened the truss rod a quarter turn with the included wrench). Fit and finish were fine for this price level. I am going to file the fret edges on mine and oil the fretboard (it's dry, like on a lot of new instruments), the frets are not razor sharp but with the winter dryness they are sharper than I like. I put on a fresh set of Ernie Ball Slinky strings ...The bass arrived in good condition, after a quick tune I played it for a bit. Considering it comes with budget strings it still has a nice tone. Allow your instrument to warm to room temperature and give it two days to allow stretching to occur to hold tune. Use a small Phillip's head screw driver to tighten the screws on the machine head knobs and snug screws mounting machine heads to head stock. I would recommend this to a beginner and even an experienced player needing a travel guitar as very little adjustment is needed out of the box to play it - tuning strings and tightening the machine head wings is normal for all guitars. An allen key is needed if you may need to straighten or add bow to the neck - allow it to adjust to room temperature before and after tuning it to check straightness of neck. My instrument did not require any truss rod adjustment and I experienced no fret bar buzzing. My suggestion is to purchase a better quality strap for this fine guitar, several Pics (start with mediums - ,72 - .80, and after playing it several months with the stock strings replace the strings with D'Addarios, Ernie Ball, or Martin strings and you will be amazed at the difference in tone and volume. The only real issue with my model, which was easy to fix (watched a Youtube video), was that the wiring harness between the controls and the receptacle had not been attached to the side of the guitar - was dangling in front of the sound hole. I just applied a small piece of two sided tape to the plastic mount and attached it to the side of the body.
Seems like a lack of varnish or primer on the face of the guitar, but could be the way it is, love the way the fretboard feels, overall I absolutely recommend this guitar, the price and sound are amazing.
