Received this as a Christmas gift. It was ready to play after tuning. Did not require any set up. The action is perfect. It is a beautful looking guitar, and it has that satisfying velvety growl you expect from an acoustic bass. Plays like butter. I couldn't put it down!

Love it! Just like how great surfers can surf on anything, a table, piece of wood, if you know how to play (definitely not saying that I do) you'll enjoy this bass. I suggest flat wound strings, D'Addario has some and the silk is blue so it matches if you buy the blue bass. I love it, definitely worth the money, not going to be plugging it in so it's perfect to take around and not worry about dents or scratches

I have to admit, for the price of this Bass Guitar my expectations were pretty low. But when it arrived and I unboxed it, I was blown away. Of course it arrived de-tuned, the string tension was reduced so the neck wouldn't deform during storage in the warehouse and the shipping time. I have to admit, for the price of this Bass Guitar my expectations were pretty low. But when it arrived and I unboxed it, I was blown away. Of course it arrived de-tuned, the string tension was reduced so the neck wouldn't deform during storage in the warehouse and the shipping time. I downloaded a Bass Tuning App to my phone and had the guitar ready to play in less than 15 minutes. The tone was perfect and I have no idea why other reviewers didn't like the factory installed strings, because I found them to be completely functional and I have no interest in replacing them until they actually wear out. I'm by no means a professional musician, I purchased the Bass to provide backup to my wife's Mandolin and it will be perfect for that function. It is pretty, well made, holds tune, and sounds great, and a great value for the price. What more needs to be said?

I never leave reviews but this Bass nice, especially for the price. It plays really well and seems well made. There's a preamp that takes a 9volt battery and has an equalizer built into it. The equalizer works really well and allows for a variety of tones. Mine came with a strap and a gig bag. The bag is kind of thin, but it will keep the dust off it and keep it from being scratched. Overall, I am really satisfied with this bass.

This Bass required only the slightest setup, conditioned fretboard, and gave the nut slots two or three passes each with a file. The action is good right out of the box, but I like it really fast, so I will lower it a bit when I get a lighter set of strings, probably bronze. The bass has a full, rich, acoustic sound, and the electronics work as they should and is a nice added feature. The continuing shortfall is the gig bag, a padded bag is a must. The bass has a full, rich, acoustic sound, and the electronics work as they should and is a nice added feature. The continuing shortfall is the gig bag, a padded bag is a must. Adding $10-15 to the total price to upgrade the bag to the padded, branded version available with some Glarry models should be standard with all models. The same can be said of the cable, the upgraded cable should come with all models. Glarry, You might want to consider for future runs, an all Blonde, (Burlywood), finish guitar, Having the sides and back the same color as the front, with an unstained, satin finished neck would be awesome! Shipping the guitar with pickgaurd not attached to allow the buyer to decide if they want it on or not would be a nice option.
