How To Fix Acoustic Guitar String Buzz?
Changes in humidity and temperature can commonly cause fret buzz.Generally speaking, if the buzz seems to be only at the 1st fret, that usually means the nut is too low, or the grooves in the nut have worn down too low. If the buzz is concentrated in the middle frets, 3rd to 9th, The truss rod may require adjustment. If the buzz is coming from the fingerboard extension, it’s likely humidity related.

"If your in a hurry and don't feel like messing around with the truss rod or having nut issues. Here's a quick fix: Get a small piece of paper, than loosing up the string that is buzzing, slide the paper underneath the string at the nut. The paper is sandwiched into the groove of the nut to cradle the string. Tune up the string. The string buzz should be gone."
