For the price, it seems like a very good value. The case is nice and has a humidity sensor, and the set includes two bows, an extra set of strings, and more. The bridge must be installed by the user but it is not difficult to do. The tuning likes to slip a little bit right out of the box, but I imagine/hope this will probably improve with time as the strings get used to their stretched length. Same thing with the rosin- it's a little hard to coat the strings and bow well at first, but will g ...

I bought this violin for my son. It was very easy to get set up and actually produced a great sound without too much trouble. It is a great choice for a beginner for the price.

Even the music store we took it to for a tune-up (didn't end up needing tuning at all) said it was great quality! They couldn't believe the price. Perfect for my 11-year-old.

Overall, I'm happy with it. The case is strong and light. There are a decent number of accessories. I have heard others talk about changing their strings because they weren't staying in tune; after I tuned mine, they sounded very nice, they didn't really go out of tune. Now, to the Violin, the sound is quite beautiful.

They say you get what you pay for, but I feel I got much more than that with this bundle. This is a fantastic beginner violin or even just something to have around to fiddle around on. I have never had or played one before so I'm sure there are some critiques I am missing, but from a beginners perspective, it sounds lovely, it's a beautiful instrument, and it really does the trick. Add the case and all of the goodies in it and wow, what a bargain!
