Great price! One of the strings broke as we were tightening them, but the cello came with an extra set of strings, so we had a replacement! Shipping was great and timely!

I bought this for one of my students who's just starting out. The sound is warm, and the spruce top looks beautiful in person. It needed some tuning out of the box, but once set up, it played well for the price.

I was very pleasantly surprised. We can't expect the ultimate cello for such a low price. Cellos cost thousands of dollars. Still, this cello is strikingly beautiful. Purchasers should expect to have to get the instrument set up - adjusting bridge height and nut slot height optimally. This is normal for any new instrument. After that, this cello is amazing. My wife wants to learn the cello so we started shopping around. Oddly enough my good friend owns a music store and while talking about it he mentioned Glarry because he doesnt sell cello's.We didn't want to spend thousands to get started.Anyhow, I was skeptical but my friend assured me it was decent stuff.We are completely impressed with the cello.And free shipping was the icing on the cake.Really it's an unbeatable value to get started playing.

Good beginner cello, especially for the price. The strings needed a little breaking in, but overall it's playable. Sturdy, and visually impressive.

Very beautiful cello. I had the bridge carved and adjusted at a local music store and I also purchased different strings that were of better quality. It has a great sound that resonates very well.

It needed a bit of adjustment out of the box. Once set up, it plays okay. Good budget option, just don't expect perfection.

Beautiful in looks and sound! I have never set up or played a new cello and haven't played in 49 years. The setup was quick and easy and it takes a few days for the instrument and strings ti adjust and stretch. Fantastic experience!!
