This is a very nice 5 string bass at a super reasonable price. Plays well and sounds decent. I'm glad it has a similar shape to a P bass, with split-coil pickups. Lots of potential! My big gripe is that it is advertised as having a 1.656" nut width, which was my main deciding factor on buying this. Well, it turns out the nut on this bass is pretty much the same as the other Glarry 5'ers: 1.77". For some reason, I just don't get along with this nut width. I hope Glarry changes this dimension in ...

At these price points, I think expecting a perfectly setup instrument are honestly unrealistic. But I was pleasantly surprised that the neck is fairly well done. No fret buzz. No sharp fret ends. The saddles will require a bit of adjustment as well as intonation, but that is ten minutes of work compared to a "fret level and crown" which will NOT be required. The grounding isn't perfect, there is noticeable noise when I'm not touching the strings or bridge, but that is something I will rectify an ...

Not a bad starter guitar bass. The speaker is small but loud enough for practice. The only two things I didn't like were the cheap bag and very short power plug. I would add a longer power cord and just some hard foam in the inside of the guitar bag would make it safe to carry the bass.

I ordered 3 different guitars, all Glarry instruments. I play left handed, with the strings reversed. All 3 guitars were right handed, so I flipped the nut around and restrung all to be lefty correct. I was really hoping that I would get a true lefty guitar, but there were none available. Will the intonation be affected by restringing the guitars?

I would have given this 5 stars if the neck of the bass wasn't so far out of adjustment....that being said Its alot better quality than I expected and its great for home recording. Might even put some better pickups in it later

The guitar is a phemonial instrument for the price, I highly recommend for any beginner. I wanted to try a 5 string bass without having to spend hundreds, and this was the perfect guitar for that. I now have two Glarry Basses, and they are a great product. Sadly, the gig bag sent with this 5 string did not fit the guitar at all, I can't use it. I'm assuming it's a generic size. I would love one that actually fit so I can actually take it places. Other than that, great product.

The guitar is beautiful! My husband was so impressed with the quality and workmanship of the actual guitar. The combo deal was a nice idea, but we will have to replace the amp, strap, and cords, due to lack of quality. However, the customer service is out of this world! I had a couple questions about packaging, and received a response almost immediately a couple times. We will definitely be shopping with you directly for our future purchases.

It's a nice guitar for a beginner. When it arrived with the box punctured and battered, I had a feeling something would not be good. It has a great tone, but we noticed that the fixed bridge is unleveled and makes the B-string closer to the frets than the others, which concluded in a buzzing sound. The G-string bridge part was unleveled but didn't affect the tone nor the sound.

Nice little short scale bass. I had it professionally set-up after purchasing it and it plays really well. My daughter loves it and it's a great first bass for her. I wish the amplifier that was sold with it had the same build quality (the amp broke 7 months into ownership, just outside of the 6-month warranty period).

As a woman in my 70's, I bought this kid's bass after seeing several positive reviews where I could see an adult playing it, who said it could be good for older folks. I'm taking a jazz group and decided to replace my u-bass with this. I expect to be happy with it, but want to note several concerns. 1) The screws covering the truss rod cover spin in their holes (I've heard this stripping can happen during manufacture); 2) the strings are quite rough (for a u-bass player) so I looked into flat wo ...

Learning bass guitars do make you stand out from the crowd. The lead guitar usually expresses the face and sound of the band with an exaggerated feel, but behind it is a bass guitar that brings vitality to the same band. The bass player usually calmly performs his own performance, making the entire band's energetic heartbeat continue to beat.

Playing a electric bass guitar is easy to learn, but it's hard to master, it all depends on where you want to match. Bass guitars are very easy to get started, most people can master the basics and start playing right away, but learning best bass guitars can also be very advanced, because it is an easy-to-use instrument that can be almost as infinite as possible. The right quality of the correct tuning and playing bass guitar and the richness of the rich tones are truly fascinating. Being a bass guitar player and being able to create such a sound yourself is still a much more exciting.
